Where do you depart/moor up? Are they as difficult to secure as the IllumiNations Cruise?

Me :bounce:

I shared it with some US Diser's who got the cruise because they couldn't get an Illuminations Cruise. We departed from Wilderness Lodge but our driver dropped us off at the Contemporary.

We had a lovely time, the boat went out to River County, pass the Contemporary, then The Poly and The Grand Floridian before stopping to watch Wishes.

Thanks, Kaylee. What time of year were you there? What time was Wishes? How long did the cruise last?

Deb

It was last October. I haven't a clue about the timings now. But I think we got on the boat maybe 1/2 hour before WISHES and then if WISHES was, lets just say 8pm, I think we got off at the Contemporary about 8.40pm. Something like that - we really enjoyed it.

This cruise sounds really good, does anyone know how to book it and how much it costs. Thanks Maria

We also did a MK Fireworks cruise in October - shared with other DISers. It cost $120 (plus tip for the captain), split between two families it was worth every penny (or should that be cent ;) )

We left from the Poly, had a tour round the Seven Seas lagoon & the hotels, went into Bay Lake and then stopped ot watch Wishes. It was the best view of the fireworks we had the whole trip. The whole family enjoyed it - aged from 2 to 60 :Pinkbounc

Becky & I did this a couple of years ago at Xmas, Deb:) We loved it! We also shared with 2 US families who happened to have 4 teenage daughters...this helped Bek enjoy it too!;)

Great view and very atmospheric:)
