My daughter is an excellent swimmer (swim team etc) and I would love to surprise her and my hubby with reservations for the Epcot Aqua Tour but was wondering if anyone has done it with children?? How was is? Was is worth the $ and was it easy enough for the children? Thank you in advance.

I did the Aqua Tour with my 9 year old son this past February and he did very well. We plan on doing it again on our upcoming October trip as well.

Great idea!! Have fun.

Thank you for the info. Can you tell me a little about the tour? I did read the little "onfo" that Disney pits out, but would love some input on someone who has done it. Is there somewhere I can wait for them to finish where I can see them? DS is in a wheelchair and I was hoping we could sit somewhere and watch Daddy and Daughter swim in the tank. Would it be better to go into the Living Seas restaurant and watch??? Thank you in advance.

It is a snorkling tour of the Living Seas Tank. From what I am reading you don't have to have any experience or be certified. They give you a wet suit to wear over your bathing suit and a regulator to breathe through. You get to swim in the tank for 1/2 hour and get a small talk adn video about converservation. I think the cost is $100.00. This includes the swim, the tour and photo and a tee shirt.
