Need info on the Cape May Charater Breakfast. I think its at the Beach Resort?? What charaters do they have/ How is the food? Any information will be helpful.

Thank you. :)

I don't remember how long ago I did this resturant I did it cause my son loves goofy and goofy was here. We all liked it.Sorry I don't remeber who else was here.

We did Cape May Cafe back in May. Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, and Chip and Dale were there. Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto came around to our tables....we never even saw chip and dale. The food was really good! I would say it is about the same quality as Chef Mickey's and Tusker House. Our ultimate fav breakfast is Crystal Palace, but Cape May Cafe is a close second!

My wife and I have visited Cape May's character breakfast several times. The food is very good and the atmosphere is a little more relaxed than the average character meal.

We have eaten there many times. I love it! It is not frenetic like some of the others can be. The last time we were there, Minnie, Chip & Dale, Pluto and Goofy were there. They are dressed in their swimsuits. It is a lot of fun, and the food is great.

We love it! Great food and fun with the characters. It is always Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale. If you want to see a huge amount of pics of food click on my April link in my signature....I took pics of the entire buffet :goodvibes

Awesome! Fab characters, great service, lovely atmosphere and good food. We've eaten at every character meal on property, multiple times and this is our fave breakfast, tied with 1900 Park Fare.

Happy eating, Tiger

I did this a few years back and it was fantastic, and I am thinking about doing it again on my upcoming November trip. The food was very good and the character interaction was great!

Ditto!! We love it...

I agree with all the pp's. We loved it and it is much more relaxing than some of the other character meals. We went last year an can't wait to go back. The food was wonderful too!

Thanks for this thread! We have this on our agenda for our upcoming trip also! Can't wait, sounds like a blast! I can't wait to see them in their swimsuits!!!:cool1:

What is the best way to get there though? Resort bus from Epcot? We are using the Disney buses and coming from ASMo. Thanks!

I don't think there is a resort bus from Epcot because of the International Gateway. I think i would take the bus to DHS and then catch the boat to the Y&BC

After breakfast, easy to go to DHS or Epcot

Have fun!!

Cape May is our absolute favorite character breakfast (and we have done them all). I love the fun atmosphere and the characters that while fun and lively, isn't some sort of frentic, loud atmosphere with too many screaming kids running around. Its quieter and more relaxed. I also think the food is amazing, they have the best fruit.

If we only do one breakfast these days on our WDW trips, its always this one.

We have always seen Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and either Chip or Dale. All in funky little beach costumes which is sort of cute. The Beach Club is lovely, its easy to get to from Studios if you don't have a car. Take the bus from your resort to MGM, then either walk along the river path (takes about 10-15 minutes) to Beach Club or take the boat (also takes about 10-15 miinutes with the slowness of the boat, the loading and stops you make before you end up at Beach Club). After breakfast its a piece of cake to walk or boat to MGM or Epcot or take Beach Club's bus to another park.

We love Cape May, like others have said it seems to be a more relaxing Char Meal. When we go to different resorts for meals we grab the first park bus that comes along, then take the bus to that resort from the park.

It's our trip ending tradition to eat breakfast @ Cape May the morning we are departing... makes us have something fun to do on such a sad day :rotfl: (we generally have a noon "ish" flight so it's the last Disney memory we have each trip)....

We love Cape May :thumbsup2

I cannot wait to try there in Nov!

As far as getting there...I would take a cab. I do not like waiting for buses that early in the AM. We may rent a car this time though and leave the car there and head to EPCOT after (this is fine as long as you have a Disney Resort parking pass).

We loved it - also found it much more relaxed than CP or CM breakfast. MUCH better than CM breakfast!!! I am a sucker for the puffed french toast at CP though;)
We got there right as it opened (our kids are early risers) and it was so nice - we had the characters virtually to ourselves. The food was great - they have a big yogurt bar plus typical breakfast fare. DH, DS1, and I will be going again on our upcoming trip while our DS4 is at the Sunrise Safari and Breakfast with my MIL and SIL.
