We have an 8 yr and 5 yr old and we are wondering if this is worth the money? Can you see a lot through the port holes or are you sharing it with a whole bunch of people?

We have done the Atlantis sub in Aruba. It is very comfortable with plenty of portholes to go around. It is pricey, but it is memorable.

We did the Atlantis sub dive at St. Thomas back in 2000. Our family loved it. Our daughter was 7 almost 8 when we did the sub tour. Our teenage boys loved it also. The portholes are large and there were charts provided to identify fish etc. Just remember to turn off your camera flash. Kathy

We did the Atlantis Sub on St. Thomas this past June with an 8 year old girl and two boys ages 6 and 10. The kids LOVED it. We got to see so many fish, it was amazing. Some adults seemed to get claustraphopic (it's a little tight in the sub) but the kids did awesome. Also, since the Sub trip doesn't take all day we also went up the inclide on St. Thomas. The view is beautiful and they have a snack shop/bar and shops at the top. We also had time to shop in town.

It is a great trip. Our kids loved it when we did it on St. Thomas. (We weren't on the DVC cruise at the time). If you have kids with you, make sure they take a restroom break on the boat before boarding the sub because the sub doesn't have one on it.:scared:

The windows are huge and you can see everything really well. Even Sharks! We got lucky and saw one.
