Hi everyone! We're from PA and a lot of our friends and family cannot make the trip to DW for our wedding this September. So I got the idea of webcasting the ceremony. Has anyone done this or have any tips? We bought a webcam, which appears to have decent picture quality, but the sound is extremely quiet. I'm also wondering what our best option for internet access will be. My phone gets 3.5G and can be used as a modem with our laptop. However, I'm not sure if that will be fast enough, or if the Wedding Pavilion is in a 3G coverage area. Help!

Most people who have done a webcast have done it through STVs, I don't know of anyone whose done it on their own, but who knows - maybe someone will come along with their story. :confused3

As far as the IPhone - all of Lake Buena Vista (WDW) is in the 3G network - including the WP. I can vouch that I had excellent IPhone coverage while I was down there, as long as I wasn't in a hotel (the concrete interfered with the signal). :thumbsup2 You should be fine on that part!
