It's been a while sincewe've been there, I'd love to hear some recent reviews since we don't do the Dining Plan and pay OOP. Thanks a bunch!

I ate there in July and loved it. We eat there every trip and had been disappointed during our 2006 trip. Things were back to perfect this time! The food was piping hot, perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was wonderful, we had a nice quiet table with a great view. We pay OOP too, and it's definitely worth it for us.

We dined there on our anniversary last month and it was wonderful. It was the 4th time I had dined there in the past 3 years and everything was perfect as always. We were even given personalized menus(we had not requested them). :thumbsup2

We are planning to eat there in September, so I am really excited to hear that!

Does anyone know if they have out the lamb dish back on the menu yet? It's not on allears, but the host i spoke with last month said the menu may change for the fall...

On the menu I have here from 7/22...

"LAMB TWO WAYS" Boneless Rack of Lamb with Potato Pancake, Red Wine Braised Lamb, Warm Goat Cheese, and Merlot Reduction $32.00"

We ate there in late June. Our ADR was for 7:30. We were seated at 8:30. (The place wasn't crowded BTW) Our order was taken at 9:15 and our dinner was served at 9:45. We saw 2 tables just get up and leave while we were there because the service was so bad. Several of us at the table talked to both managers on duty during the 2 hours we were there and despite the "we'll take care of everything right away", we left very distgusted with the whole experience.

We were there in April.

The food was fabulous. It was the best steak that I have ever had.

OMG! That is horrible!

The grown ups shared a bottle of wine, the girls fell asleep on the table and the teenagers grumbled about being bored and filled up on bread (:rotfl2: ) yeah, not our best meal. Wine was excellent though!

Well, those rolls with the garlic are pretty good! :rotfl:

Thanks! That's great news :)

We ate there in May for my in-law's 50th Anniversary and it was great. The service was amazing as well.

We celebrated our anniverary there last month. Used the DDP. We also got the personalized menus and complimentary truffles for dessert.

The food was fab. The service was fab. DH had some 28 oz porterhouse and ate the whole thing. I had an incredible filet. The potatoes were out of this world. I didn't get the potatoes that came with the dish - I actaully forgot what they were, but they were GOOD.

We also ordered the sauteed mushrooms -they came in this HUGE bowl and were just great.

We loved the place and have started a new tradition. Kids off to "disney camp" (AKA kids club) and parents off to Yachtman for dinner.

We had a cocktail in the bar before going in for dinner, we sat at the bar. I ordered an absolute, splash of soda, 2 olives and a lemon wedge. My drink was a bit on the weak side. When our table was ready, DH paid the bill and tipped the guy about 8 dollars. So when I ordered my drink again from our waiter. The bartender must have known that drink was for me.....and I ended up getting an extra large glass of vodka. DH said it was for the huge tip....I tend to agree.

We were there in early August and loved it. We had a fantastic server - Thomas and a great meal. We will definitely return there on our next trip.

Well, just booked it for dinner for the four of us, hope we get the good service too!

Ate there in February - Oscar was our waiter. Chefs from Citricos and Narcoosee's sat behind us. Food was spectacular, Marc the manager took great care of us, and sent us home with a Mickey puzzle for our daughter that decided to eat with her cousins instead of us. We'll be going back next month for DD's birthday.

We go there just about every trip, and the only time we had bad service is when we got Linda. Run far away if they say Linda will be your server. I honestly don't know why they continue to employ her. Oscar is a fantastic server and will take care of your every desire.

I wonder if that's who we had. Our server was a female. Man, what a bad experience. However, with all these good reviews, I would be inclined to try it again with a very open mind.

She's in her 50s, glasses, and brownish hair in shortish bob with bangs. Kind of tall and skinny. The single most horrible meal we've had at Yachtsman out of about 8 visits.

Oooo, sounds like our last Le Cellier experience. Terrible service, mediocre at best. No refills, four of us, two adults two kids crammed at a cramped table with large parties around us. She brought our bread, drinks ddn't arrive till after another server brought our food. No refills either bread or drinks. Took forever and we ate early with an ADR and no Dining Plan. I was silently pleased when the girl at Disney Dining said they were full when I called today. DD had asked to eat there again because of the breadsticks. After she told me that LC was full and I booked Yachtsman I said "thank goodness, I really didn't want to eat LC" the girl giggled and said that in her opinion YS is tons better. This way we don't have to rush back to the park for our ADR also. :) I think I made the right choice.

I had eaten at Le Cellier once and thought it was good and that we would go back again. After going to YSH, I can't imagine going back to Le Cellier again. YSH blows it out of the water.
