Anybody try using krylon spray?

I have used Krylon paint on plastic before but aren't the Magic bands more "rubbery"? I also have wondered about Plasti-Dip (used on tool handles, car emblems and wheels)...

Hi all,

Just at my local Walmart. I found those coloring books with stickers in them. The one I looked at was the Disney Princesses. The Princesses were about 3 inches tall, but there were a ton of little stickers that were cool. Everything from a glass slipper, magic lamp to the Sleeping Beauty fairies and the Cinderella Mice. I wish I'd found this book earlier. Almost bought it and came home to redo my band again.
There were two sizes the smaller one was $4 and the big one $7 or $8. I found these in the office supply area on the side of the poster display.
I also saw Sofia the First, Planes and other popular characters.

Just FYI.

We leave Saturday morning for our Disney trip! One more night of work and Vacation!

Yes I did use temp tattoos. Do not think stickers will stay on the band for long even if u apply clear coat polish after.

I believe last I heard it's 30 days out. You should get email confirmation when they ship.

Those of you that have used stickers.....did you have any issues getting them to stay on? I have some that I really like. And I'm not having the best luck finding temp tattoos that I really like.
I really wanted a Maleficent band, but not being very artistic, can't draw one. And of course there are no stickers or tattoos for her!!! Maybe just a purple band with green and black accents on it.
But I'm really curious about using stickers, with the top coat (or two).

I don't have experience w/stickers (painted mine w/nail polish & it turned out great!) but I know that purple hasn't been an option for a customized color on the site. So you'd have to get a purple polish & paint over the original color to get a purple band but it should still turn out looking good. I also am not a good painter & cannot draw a stick figure right but found just painting the whole thing w/different colors/sparkle nail polish was super fun!

In my experience there is some technique to doing it. When I did mine, I noticed that the nail polish dried really quickly. Once you put some polish down you won't be able to spread it and smooth it out. I painted three layers to make it opaque. I started at one end of the band and brushed in the same direction all the way across to the other.

FYI I got mine a month before they were supposed to ship. I got the email that they shipped the day they arrived. Keep your eyes open for them. Have a great time!

So I already completed a green one (shown in previous post). Now I have an orange & red one to decorate. Instead of using all nail polish like I did on the green one, I wanted to see what kind of temp tattoos were out there (character or otherwise) that appeal to me. I found a few sites online that seem alright for characters & some other cute ones.

Can anyone recommend a store that has a good selection of Disney tattoos & others as well? Party City came up in my online search but I'm wondering where else I could go look at them so I can see them in person before buying..

I also saw on Etsy there are pop up stickers that I thought might work w/some crazy glue or Loctite adhesive. Just trying to keep options open here.

The original idea I had for the orange one was to do simple Tigger stripes on it but it doesn't seem too original anymore b/c I've seen a few (Great looking ones!) on this thread so far. It's still on the table as an option being that Tigger has always been one of my favorite characters.
