Has anyone customised their magic bands?

We go at the weekend so have obviously already chosen colours etc. I was wondering if anyone has customised their magic bands in other ways? Can you buy things in the parks to make them more jazzy? I was toying with silver glittery nail varnish but don't want to interfere with how it works! Any tips or pics of customised bands? Thanks :-)

There is a thread here showing some of the ingenious ways people have customised their Magic Bands using nail polish, stickers and other creative stuff.

we bought some of the accessories last trip, the sort that you push into the spare holes on the band. I wouldn't bother again...we lost 3 within the first day of putting them on. You only have to brush against something and they pop out. If you find any Muppet ones on the ground in Epcot they are mine:rotfl:

Haha, I bought my DS some Phineas and Ferb ones when I was there in March. He has yet to get a Magic Band so we haven't tried them yet but I will bet my bottom dollar he's lost them by the end of day 1 then.

We customised ours with glitter nail varnish last month and they worked fine! We got so many compliments on them too, also if you have UV top coat they will glow which looked cool.

I changed mine from grey to blue :thumbsup2 - does that count? :)
