Has anyone changed rooms after check in?

I am hoping a 2br opens up @ Jambo House before I checkin in 5 days but I know that the chance is slim to none. I have 2 studios at the moment and my waitlist was canceled since I am within 7 days.

Has anyone changed room categories after check in? and if so, do I ask the front desk or do i need to call member services ?

I don't expect to be able to change, but I would love to....Also, does the front desk know how to do the point transfer etc?

I have always heard do not let the check in people access your points. Calling takes time, but that’s what I would do,

Most often they will tell you to call MS. But, the front desk CMs do not really get DVC accounts and have been known to really mess things up in accounts.

I would just keep stalking the website.
