Has anyone called for Sept. availability?

My husband and I were originally going to DW for a get away trip Sept. 29-Oct.3. However, I am wanting to take the kids and now go from Sept.22-29. Has anyone called lately to see if there is availability? I am just curious. I am afraid to wait until am for fear that I won't be able to get my FF seats on Delta. We are traveling from Boise Idaho so it is difficult to get seats out of this airport, and believe it or not I can take the kids on my same flights for only 199 roundtrip! What do you say do I book the airfare and just hope I can get rooms tomorrow early am? I want to surprise my children. Also, is there a penalty in regards to my points changing my reservation? I have not done that before. I am currently booked at SSR. I would like to stay at SSR.

Thanks! I called this am and got my dates for a 2 bed at SSR Sep. 16-22! Yeah!!! I cannot wait to go home!

I am not sure at SSR, I assume it is fairly available. I just called today for Aug 26-30 and member services heard me wrong and quoted me availability for Sept. 26-30. OKW was available as was BWV in a preferred view room. BCV was not available (no surprise). VWL was. Sporadic dates were available at BWV for standard view rooms. They didn't mention SSR, but again, I assume it was pretty available.
