Has anyone called and received a pin attached to their name lately?

I called to ask about a pin or code, and the guy told me that the only people who get those are the ones who visit the parks frequently (like 15 times). Is that really true? If so, I'm out of luck. I haven't been since I moved out of Florida 10 years ago. :confused3

Nope, I received 3 pin codes by email in the two years leading up to our first visit. Haven't received jack since we actually went :rotfl:

Don't give up hope!

My sister received a postcard PIN yesterday (6/26) in the mail valid July through September 29 with Value rates starting at $55/night.

Also, I spoke with 2 CM's this weekend about a trip in January. One was rude and told me not to bother calling and asking about a code unless I had a number or an email. But she also told me that the new rate policy was starting from here on out instead of January 1. The next one was super helpful and said to keep calling and ask the CM's to check the "incentives screen" to see if anything was available during my stay.

Doesn't hurt to keep trying. It looks like they are issuing updated codes when they issue AP prices.

Wish you luck! :wizard:

Number of visits don't really seem to matter (at least in our experience). This August trip will my my 21st and I have NEVER recieved an email or postcard. My mother who came with us a couple of times got a number of postcards a couple of years ago. (4 in a 2 year time span).
When everyone else was talking about an upgrade for our Aug visit I didnot recieve an email or postcard but I called anyway. The first CM I spoke to didn't have a clue and couldn't help me but that evening when I called and explained that IF I did get an email it must have gone to my spam box and been deleted. After a little coaxing he finally looked and yes I had the upgrade option attached to my name. Sorry POP but SSR here we come!

Can anyone remember lastyear if they received a code for the Boardwalk Inn? We are hoping for a code for Jan 31st 2008 for the Boardwalk. I know that is value season, so the rate now is $315.00 and we hope to get a discount. There are 5 of us, so we are limited where we stay or we have to get 2 rooms at a value. Please let me know any input if you can. Thanks:scared1:

We are going in Aug. Just finished paying MYW package. My friend got a postcard in the mail for 94.00 for the POR and wanted to go. The pin card is good for up to three rooms. We called back and booked her and changed my familys res. They can be different ress. just have to have a "travel with" no. and check in on the same day. We saved about 400.00!:cool1:

How do they decide who gets a card in the mail?
