Has anyone bought the Disney Princesses Christmas tree at Target? LINK !!

DH & I decided to go with a new, smaller, possibly pre-lit tree this year because he can't do the lights anymore and I would make an absolute MESS of it..

I went out looking this afternoon and early this evening and just didn't see anything that "grabbed" me.. Then while we were in Target my DD pointed out this awesome little 3 ft. Disney Princesses Christmas tree that she bought for my granddaughter to have in her room.. It comes with a few little plastic ornaments that have Princess stickers on them and the tree is a kind of white-ish, pink-ish, lavender-ish color. They also sell these little miniature lights you can put on the tree..

Anyhow..........it got me to thinking.. The only reason we're putting up a tree at all this year is for our granddaughter, so why not get the Princesses tree? I asked my DD if she would mind and she said no - she thought it would be neat.. Coincidentally, almost every gift we bought our little munchkin is Disney Princesses! I have the perfect library table to put in on in the living room and then we could place the gifts in front of the table..

What do you think? Yes? No?

And if you bought one, do you think it's pretty?

I've got to make up my mind and get something this weekend.. Any and all suggestions appreciated!

My daughter liked it as well.. but here's one to think about...

How long will you keep this? Will you grandaughter grow out of princesses soon? My daughter is 6, and the princess crazy has slightly waned.

There are nice prelit trees at Target. I just put mine up today and it took all of 5 minutes to set up, and poof! instant lights

I bought that same tree from Toys R Us last year for my dd. She really wanted it for her room. Last year she was 11 and she still loves it this year! So it could last for many years!

I just did a search on eBay - there's several on there - and the one that I liked (that's at Target) is the pretty pink one - not the purple one that's in the link I provided.

If any of you want to see what the pink one looks like, do a search on eBay for Disney Princess Tree.. They even have matching tree skirts and all!

I'm really thinking I might do this !! And if she outgrows the "princess" stage by next year, guess what I'm going to do with it ??????????? EBAY !!!!!

how cute jfulcer!! I remember last year on a different board this was a really hot item and lots of people got them. I never heard anyone that didn't like them! Go for it and post a picture so we can all see it!

I keep looking at it too. We aren't going to be home for Christmas this year so no need for a tree. I'm hoping I can pick one up after christmas on clearance for next year.

There are also additional ornaments you can purchase for the tree.

AWWW! Jfulcer, your girls are so cute! We aren't putting up our tree this Christmas since we are cruising, but I suggested to DD 12 that we go check these out. She laughed at me! What a Scrooge. She'll change her tune if Tink is on the tree, though. Diana

Just for myself, I'm a real tree snob! But that one is so cute, it almost makes me give in to having a "fake" tree! LOL It certainly would be a lot easier to put lights on.
