Has anyone bought Disney gift cards online at Target recently?

I purchased a RAISE Target gc today but noticed they are out of the Disney gift cards online. I was just wondering if anyone has purchased any lately. Hoping they are out temporarily.

They were back on the website on Jan. 14 and then a couple of days later, they were out of stock again. It's probably temporary.

I guess I got lucky, because I bought 2 on Jan 14th. My order says they shipped.

I ordered one on the 15th and it is showing shipped with a delivery date of sometime this week.

I'm right there with ya. I bought $600 worth of Target gc's at Kroger on Saturday so I could get the fuel points and now I"m hoping to turn around and save 5% on the Disney gc's when Target gets them back in stock online .

Glad I'm not the only one sitting here hitting the refresh button on the Target site. Sheesh! How hard is it to keep a the cards in stock? They seem to have plenty in the stores.

I think so many people are buying them online now after that news article came out about it I just check whenever I am online. My trip I need them for isn't till August so I'm sure I can get them by then, but if I have problems I will just buy in store without the 5%. I am using perk $ for them anyway.

They've only been out of stock for what? one week! That's hardly cause for alarm. Target often runs out of stock on Disney GCs and people get worried that they won't sell them online any more. I wouldn't be concerned until we can no longer see them on the website at all.

I think things are changing but I wouldn't panic just yet. I've been doing this (or had been) for over a year and they were pretty consistent about staying in stock. Randomly, yes they would go out of stock and people would worry and then they'd be back in stock.

This past time was the quickest I've seen them go out of stock as it only lasted two days. They were back in stock on 1/14 and OOS two days later on 1/16/15. The last time it was a little over a week before they re-appeared.

I do think it's because more people are doing it, talking about it, sharing, etc. so perhaps that's just the way it will be for awhile.

Hopefully for those that this helps it won't be taken away!

I think part of the problem was they lifted the limit of 3 per order on 1/14. I'm not sure why they did that. I was able to order a bunch of cards on one order during the 14 & 15.

Plus they were out of stock after Christmas for over 2 weeks.

You can download the Target app to your smartphone and then add the GCs to it through the gift card section. It will generate a bar code that the cashier can scan.
