Oh thats strange - I got a quote from them yesterday and again this morning. It doesn't come up until you have entered that you want to buy tickets and ddp. CSR comes out £500 more with Disney than with Complete Orlando for me, so think I know who I'm booking with!

We've booked a Disney cruise for October 2011 and just booked a flydrive with VH last week. It makes me feel better knowing I've got something booked, even if it is way into the future

I never thought booking would be so stressful.
I was planning on a early July 2011 visit with Free DPP but its not on offer (yet)!!!
So now think I will go in August however know its going to be busier as the kids will have broken up.
Fingers crossed Disney offer Free DPP and the 43% off Saratoga as it looks really nice. Complete Orlando are offering a great price but a little relunctant to book with them and would prefer Disney direct.
However am I silly booking the accomodation before the flights are available?
What happens if I cant get a flight on the exact date I want?
What if Disney, at a later stage, offer free dining in July and I want to change dates - will they allow me to do this and just charge the £50 amendment fee?
What is August really like? Lo....ng queues?

Just booked 15 nights at SSR starting 27th Oct. Booked with CO as rang Disney UK and didn't look very like discounts would come out soon and even if they do 47% off, would still be £70 more. Also CO mentioned that there are whispers of Disney changing the DDP in relation to the snack and CS credits.
Just glad we've booked now and whatever happens with Disney uk we feel we've got an excellent price!

I'm just sitting here with a pen and paper calculating all of my options.

We are considering August (no pressure getting the time off school) and October. We went last year in August and yes it was hot but we just planned our days to get up early and come back later and then go out again. The queues were manageable too.

I booked with CO too for Oct next year going to POR and upgraded QSDP to DDP. I also saw on another thread someone saying that the VH website is quoting DDP has 2 snack credits instead on 1. Lets hope so.

Congrats on your booking. I have no doubt whatsoever that VH has printed the 2 snacks in error though so don't get your hopes up too much.

Congrats! I think that's what we're going to do, for next May, book with CO - the price is coming out at slightly less than I have paid with Disney this year, so can't go wrong!

Congrats on your booking. I have no doubt whatsoever that VH has printed the 2 snacks in error though so don't get your hopes up too much.

In a way I hope you're right. I put half a stone on last year with one snack a day - the heart sinks at what I could do with 2 a day!!!!

It is an error I'm afraid and apparantly they have now updated it to 1 snack credit

"The Dining Plan offers 2 meals and a snack per night for everyone in the party aged 3 years and over.

The Deluxe Dining Plan includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and 2 snacks per person per day. 1 Refillable Resort Cup per person (can only be used in hotel where guests are staying, NOT in any Theme Parks)."

well, i've gone and booked the villa (no flights yet, waitng for pay day!) Going July 20th 2011 for 17 nights. Feeling excited but will feel even better once the flights have been booked. When do virgin release their summer 2011 brochere? I was hoping to book before this was released (when this is released is there a chance of the fares going up???)

If you go to the VH main page and click on the bit that says eat for free at disney in red beneath the map then scroll right down to the bottom of the page you will see terms & conditions for 2010 and 2011 offer. Underneath the 2011 offer it is definately different and says 2 snack credits for the DDP and only 1 on the 2010 offer, also the 2011 offer for QSDP no longer lists the refillable mug as being available.

We are already thinking about 2011. We are DVC members with a June use year so wont be going until after June. This year we have banked what was left of our points and booked a holiday with Disney directly, flights with virgin and car hire all separately.We got the dining plan for free and cheap park tickets and the holiday this year represent fantastic value for money. Next year I am worried the flights will be even more expensive but experience has taught us that waiting for flight prices to come down does not pay off. If you get the right price dont wait..just book it!

This must be the new dining plan for Counter Service as the WDW site is also offering it with the refillable resort mug.
