Has anyone been upgraded at check in?

Just curious: Has anyone been given a complimentary upgrade at check in?

We once found out about it at check in. Dropped off luggage with the porter who said "Oh, we have you in XXXX" which was different than on our docs. Turned out to be an upgrade.

found out we were upgraded when we got to the port, but we didn't know it till we checked in. So later on we were looking for our luggage just after the boat drill and when we went to our old cabin...there it was!! They had sent our luggage to the old cabin.

Caught a room host and they took great care of us!
