Been looking at a cheap holiday for next year, as i should hopefully get some compen money. Fingers Crossed.

We have our norm (the must have) WDW holiday booked for Oct 09.

We gathered the brochures today, and have come across Cape Verde Islands.

Has anyone been and able to give advice.

We have narrowed it down to Egypt, Cape Verde Islands ?, Tunisa or Canary's

I have seen Cape Verde on a travel programme - the scenery looks fab, but it is very basic as it is a developing country so not many tourist activities etc.

A friend of ours went on his honeymoon - he says it was very basic but great fishing!!!

Cape Verde is v basic, a bit like The Gambia twenty years ago. If you want a bit of luxury you'll get more for your money in Tunisia or Egypt
