has anyone been to Typhoon Lagoon since July 25th?

if you've been to TL since July 25th, did you notice whether there were 3 rider tubes in use at Crush and Gusher?

according to another disboard, when someone was there on July 25th, the 3 rider tubes were not being used...
when we were there on July 22nd, they were in use...
so i wonder what happened during those 3 interim days...
and i wonder if they're still not in use...

anyone know?

We were there on the 26th. I can remember DS 15 and I watching some CMs (dressed in pants and shirts/not lifeguards) stacking the 3 rider tudes out of reach from the guests. We did not see any in use while we were there. Funny you posted this becuase DS and I were having a conversation as to how a person gets these tubes, why they were out of reach, stc.

We were just at Typhoon Lagoon on Saturday, July 30. The 3 person intertubes were being used then. Not sure why they wouldn't be in use before.

I wonder if they've been having problems with people getting stuck. I haven't been to TL since the new slides opened, but we were at Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels 2 weeks ago where the water roller coaster originated and we saw a couple in a 2 person tube that got stuck as they were going up the first hill and had to walk out. But, since there are 3 in our family, I hope they're able to keep using the 3 person tubes so we can ride together.

well if they were in use on the 30th, i guess the problem was solved...
the 3 person tubes are super fun....with all that weight, you go REALLY fast....

Yes, during our visit on the 31'st they were using three person tubes! All three slides were great, but pretty short. The one to the most left which can only accomodate two people was the best, having the most drops!

Again only complaint is the length, otherwise the rides are FUN FUN FUN.
