Has anyone been to the Prime Time Cafe?

We went on our last trip in 2001...Loved it...has anyone been there lately? Is it still a blast? I may set up ressies tomorrow for our June trip but wanted some input...thanks!

We had dinner there one night this past June trip. Our server seemed to be kinda new and did not have the pizzaz that our past "Moms, Aunties, Cousins, etc." were. One of the other servers came over and said something that ticked off one of my friends that was dining with us, but other than that we had a great time. I really like dining there.

At PT last time we were there,good food and server was a blast.The CM server you have will effect your dining experience at PT.If you get one who does not interact a bunch with you I think it hurts your experience greatly.

We went last December and it was great! I love the food there, and we had a good time.

We are returning in May, as well, because one member of our party hasn't tried it yet =) We had the usual debate about PT vs SciFi but decided in the end for PT again =)

Do both - we're planning Prime Time for lunch and Sci Fi Drive In for dinner when it's dark outside - nice retreat from the heat.

We ate there March, 2003 and somehow I ended up singing "I'm a Little Teapot" standing up in the middle of the restaurant!!

We love this place. Fun atmosphere, good comfort food and not outrageously overpriced. I love their fried chicken, almost as good as what my dear grandmother used to make!

We ate there last fall and throughly enjoyed it. Aunt (geesh I can't think of her name) was too funny. She made my dh wear a bib so that he wouldn't mess up his pretty shirt. I had the pot roast and my dh had meatloaf. The roast was so tender you could cut it with your fork. I'm not a meatloaf fan but my dh loved it.

We love this restaurant very much. We were a party of six adults,and everyone loved the food and service. This is a very fun restaurant with reasonable prices. You have to try one of there peanut butter & jelly shakes they are wonderful.

We are going to WDW in July. We are planning on going to PT for lunch or supper one day. Is there a preference between the two? Also, do you need PS? I've had people tell me no, but we don't want to wait forever to get seated.

We ate there in 2002, I LOVED IT, going back in May! GREAT food (dinner, I had Pot Roast, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!) Very entertaining!

I have a friend who didn't eat her green beans, HATES them, the server made the entire restaurant get up and "fly like airplanes" while he fork fed her her beans!!! I wish I saw that!!!

Yes, I would recommend PS - it was packed when we were there for an early dinner - we would've have to wait at least an hour. I wasn't crazy about the food - but we're still going back in August! It was one of my kids' favorite things about Disney.

We ate there last week. Had a blast!! The desserts were great. The only warning I have...do not put your eye against the viewfinder they give you to look at the desserts they offer. My daughter did and got an eye infection. Now, I am not sure this is where she got it, but "Auntie Clare" handed it to my daughter and before I could say..."don't rest that on your eye", it was there. I told my son not to put his eye on it and he did not. Two days later, my daughter had an infection in her eye.

Is there any way to let them know when you check in that you do NOT want to subjected to the theme nonsense there?
I know of people who have been very offended going there and not knowing this is for "show"
I personally like the food and the surroundings but I do not care for the "act" just serve my food and leave me be.
