Has anyone ever been to Niagara Falls,Canada? I'm going this summer and I want to know what some fun things are to do for kids/teens.

I've been! I love it there. Do the Maid of the Mist boat thing. It's pretty touristy, so you should be able to find things that are fun to do. :) The Canadian side is MUCH better than the American side.

Thanks, my mom said were going 2 go on the maid of the mist. it looks pretty cool. did u do he sky wheel??? if u did was it scary cuzz im kinda afraid of heights.

Well these were my favorite things that I did when I went awhile ago:
  • Maid of Mist.
  • Clifton Hill.
  • The Skylon (sp?) Tower.
  • The IMAX Theatre.
  • Whirl pool Aero Car.

Woah, this couldn't get any perfecter considering I JUST got home from Canada today lol. :)

Okay, well there aren't really like "activities" like, teen groups if that's what you're thinking. But idk.

Definantely do:
-Maid in the Mist.
-Clifton Hill.
-Sky Wheel.

Those were totally a lot of fun.
There's a lot of like touristy things there like haunted houses, shops, Ripley's museums, etc. And they seemed pretty expensive. But yeah.

Hope you have fun! :)

thanks 4 all the info u guys!! itz really helping, i didnt think anyone would respond lol. what hotel did u guys stay in when u went? im staying in comfort inn in clifton hill. itz right across from the sky wheel.

I only stayed overnight, then went to Collingwood, Ontario for the week. But we stayed in the Hampton Inn or something? I don't know. It's not near Clifton Hill. It's like a 10 minuteish walk from there.

I used to go all the time.
The Canadian side is waaaayyy better.
Just go to a hotel nearby, and ask for recomendations of places to go, or go to a store or museum, and see if they have brochures.

I pretty much live there.
PM me if you have any questions!

Yeah, Ripleys is a must see.
Which is on Clifton Hill. Clifton Hill also has a pass that gets you into like 5 things or something. It includes the sky wheel and madame tussauds as well as ripleys.

Wow. So many people are coming here. I love it, i feel as if i can finally give advice on somewhere. XD

Like ace said, all hotels have a huge rack of EVERY attraction from NF to Toronto. :p

I live like 20 minutes from there.

Its fun.I Guess. I like Cliftion hill (did I spell that right?)

I've finally went :D Hahaha.
It does seem like that! But then there's people from the Mid-West too.
I haven't seen many people from the WestCoast?

I go there all the time. It's so much fun!!!

If you can stay @ one of the hotels on Falls St they have access to an indoor water park which is really fun!

Here are some other really fun things to do

  • Mme Tussaud's Wax Museum/Hollywoodland Wax Museum
  • Any of the Haunted House (Screamers is the scariest!)
  • Maid of the Mist
  • Eat @ Planet Hollywood or the HardRock Cafe
  • The Fun House!!!!!
  • The Skywheel (during the day...it's hard to see things @ night)
  • IF you're not from Canada and wyou've never had TIm Horton's you should definitley go there just to try it. :)
  • RIpley's Believe it or Not Museum
  • Eat @ The Rainforest Cafe (it'll remind you of WDW!! lol)
  • Go shopping in the MGM store
  • Go on the WWE ride (can't remember the name of it...and if you're a WWE fan go shopping in the store)
  • Go to the Great Canadian Arcade...it's SO fun you can spend HOURS there!!
  • Guiness World Records Museum

Something you should DEFINITLEY get if you're going to spend alot of time at Clifton Hill (which is where all the museum thingys/haunted houses are)
They have these "funpass" things which allow you access to like, 5 of the different places for one price (I think the one I got last time I went gave you access to Ripley's, Mme Tussauds, the Funhouse and it gave you 20 free tokens @ the Arcade)
It's much cheaper than buying them all seperately.

Also if you're staying for a few days you should go to Niagara-on-the-lake one day! It's such a cool little town.
And while your there you can go to Fort (george?---i think it is!!). It's an old Canadian military fort--really cool actually. It's about a 20-30 min drive from Niagara Falls but it's a cool way to spend half a day.

Ummm...you also COULD go to Marineland...but honestly it's a HUUUGE waste of time/money. There are like 5 rides, and they always have massive lines. It's just REALLY not so much fun! lol so that's definitley something you can skip (but hey...you may like it, that's JMHO)

If I think of anything else I'll let you know.
IF your parents want to go to the casino one night or something you can definitley still wander around clifton hill---things don't close til about 12-1am-ish and it's REALLY safe to walk around on your own. :goodvibes

Hope I helped. Any questions feel free to ask because I've been there SO many times (because it's less than an hour from my house lol)

Oh and in the haunted houses. Someone told me they cant touch you in the states.

In Canada. They grab you and throw you in closets with people who have chainsaws..

:D

Yeah they can't touch you here hahaha.

WOAH. That's scary hahahahaha.

I have a few years back. The Maid Of the Mist is so awesome. I remember having to put on the raincoats. It was so beautiful and very powerful. I also remember the city being very clean.
