Has Anyone Been To Lucky Nugget Character Meal

Hi

We are still planning our character meals after looking on the DLP food guide we do not like any of the food offered at Cafe Mickeys

Has anyone been here? What characters are there? Was the food good? The only thing my dh liked was the price and the fact it was a buffet. So we know we can eat most of the food offered.

We've been twice and enjoyed it both times.

First time the characters were Friar Tuck, Minnie, Tigger, Mr Smee, Robin Hood, Brer Fox, Donald Duck and Daisy.

Second time they were Minnie, Gepetto, Brer Fox, Friar Tuck, Pluto, Goofy, Eeyore and my fave (after Mickey) Robin Hood.

We had a great time.
The food has loads of choice and was hot and changed regularly.

Service was fairly good. They forgot a drink and plates were slow to be cleared. The characters come frequently and there was a piano player. (This was december 2004)

The food is fairly TEX-MEX as a lot of other places. I think that is the reason I am so/so about. We had already eaten in Billy bobs and Buffalo Bill's and I think I just had mexican overload.

just come back did this meal on wed 26th booked for 6.30 and it was not busy at all ,loverly choice of food salad,cold meats,rice,pasta chips pizza,chilli ,ribs,chicken desserts to DIE for the waffles with chocolate sauce were srummy and the kids loved the chocolate brownies ,oh and ice lollys for the kids as well.characters where tigger,eyore,pluto,pinochio,geppeto,tweedle dum and tweedle dee,donald,and minnie. kids drinks are in with the price we had a coke each and a jug of water it was 97eur the charactors came to every table and spent time with each child so it was excellent value the ony thing was with the HEAT (40 ) we didnt eat as much as we would of usually.
