Has anyone been to Hollywood & Vine lately?

Any recent dinner reviews? What kinds of food was on the buffet?

Thanks!

Was there last July and last December.

Basic foods on the menu...nothing spectacular.

Slow service in regards to things like plates cleared, drink refills, getting the check both times.

Character interaction was fabulous both times.

Went two weeks ago. Food was fine. There was fried shrimp, BBQ chicken, Mongolian beef, salmon and a few other meat dishes.

We went at Christmas. A little worried due to bad reviews but it was fine. Food was perfectly good, characters were great and waitress was nice. It was a chaotic ambience but I enjoyed it overall and again the food was fine,

Food was fine. Character interaction was great. Only thing was it was cramped spaces, so if you're not a fan of places especially with loud kids, it might not be for you.

We really enjoy dinner there! Nothing gourmet, but nice salads, amazing macaroni and cheese, carved meats, and the sides have always been really good, though they are switched out seasonally. For the Halloween dinner there has been a root vegetable casserole that I loved, a mushroom-farro dish, and very good garlic mashed potatoes, (they may be a daily item.)

We were there in February. It was ok food. Some decent items, some gross (and I'm an adventurous eater).

The character interactions were second to none. During that same trip we also did Tusker House character breakfast, which was way better food, but we barely saw each character once and they were a little rushed. H&V characters came by at least two times, and Minnie came by 3 or 4 times to hang with our little girl, which pretty much cemented her as her favorite character now.

Can't speak to dinner but we were pleasantly surprised with our first visit to Hollywood & Vine last Fall, after reading many negative reviews. We did breakfast and enjoyed it a lot. Would return.

We just went in April. Character interaction was fantastic, especially Donald and Goofy. Food was much better than the last time we'd had dinner at Hollywood and Vine (probably been at least 5 yrs.) I can't actually remember anything that we ate though!
