Has anyone been to Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast recently?

I am taking my 2 yo DS & my mom to DL Thursday then we are going to GK Friday for breakfast. I was wondering which characters have been there recently. And how the food & service was. Thank you! :teeth:

DH and I were at Goofy's Kitchen the first week of September. The characters that were there were: Baloo and Donald Duck (as "greeters" out front where they had people taking pictures you could purchase later); the Mad Hatter, Goofy (of course), Pluto, Snow White (they were all roaming around the tables. Pluto and Goofy stopped at our table more than once. It wasn't crowded at all and we saw one little boy leading Pluto by the "paw" all over the place--and Pluto just let him!) There may have been other characters coming in and out, but those were the ones that stopped at our table (which had no kids at it). The characters and wait staff also have periodic dances where the kids (and adults if they wish) can come up and do the macarena with the characters.

We were there at about 7:30 in the morning and, in addition to many, many breakfast foods, they had pizza, macaroni-n-cheese (w/goofy shaped pasta), chicken nuggets, other lunch fare, plus a whole table of desserts! The food was good, (the waffles and pancakes could have been hotter), and we found PLENTY to eat. The wait staff was very nice. Our waitress kept coming by and refilling our orange juice glasses and teased us about not joining in the Macerana.

I hope you have a great time at Goofy's Kitchen and at Disneyland!

Thank you so much for the report! I hope, hope that Snow White or another princess will be there. And Baloo would be great too. DS loves Jungle Book. It sounds very promising.
Thank you, I'm so excited! :teeth:

I have heard that one princess is always there. They change throughout the day, but one is there. I'm hoping this is true, as my 3 yearold thinks she is one of the princesses.

how much does it cost to eat at Goofy's Kitchen? We will be in DL next week and might give it a try.

I will be there Friday & can report, but I am thinking $16 for adults? That's what it is at WDW.

I just made my reservations today and got the prices.

Brunch adult 18.95 child (3-11) 9.95
Dinner adult 26.95 child (3-11) 9.95
under 3 is free

Just back from DL. I was a bit disappointed with Goofy's Kitchen. For two adults, it was $46 for brunch. They include a gratuity & tax. The pancakes were not hot, not even warm. For almost $50 I would expect the food to be better.
The characters were Pluto out front greeting guests, Goofy, Baloo & Alice (in Wonderland). The Genie left as we entered & we didn't see him again. There was no Mad Hatter, and no princess. :(
At least my DS enjoyed the characters he met & he liked his Mickey pancake.
Next time we may try Plaza Inn with Pooh.
