Has anyone been to chip & dales campfire & movie time

Have you ever been to Chip & Dales campfire and movie time. How is it? Would group of adults and 5 children, ages 12-6 enjoy it? Thanks

And had a ball! The only thing you might want to check is what movie is going to be playing. The night we went, they played National Treasure, which was good for the adults, but kids would have liked something better.

I would also suggest to wear old clothes that you can expect to get ruined. I never could get the dirt and smoke out of the clothes they wore. Loved It!!

We love the campfire. The movies change monthly. In Oct we saw Lilo & Stich. Bring some money for the smores packet.

It is wonderful and....free! I am surprised that alot of people don't take advantage of this more.


The camping is an absolutely beautiful place, so peaceful and such a change from the hustle and bustle of the parks.

And who can resist roastung marshmallows while ssinging Disney tunes IN wdw?

Yes we have been there done that and would go back again.. my kids at the time were 9,10,6 You can purchase marshmellows and the works for smores. PJ's are a great thing to wear to the night time campfire.. then off to lala land for the young ones...

What time does it start? We will be staying at WL and thought about going over to FW to check it out.

Wow I must have hit a bad night.

Here was my expirence. First off there are only 2 small fire pits. And the people that sat around it never moved the entire time so it was hard to try to squeeze in for marshmellow toasting. Then when chip and dale did come it was a free for all. I didn't let my youngest go because he would have been squished or knocked over.

We didn't really enjoy it.

Although if you do go, make sure you dress warm just in case you don't get near the fire or it is chilly out. And also know the places to sit and watch the movie are metal bleachers so bring a cushion.

What is the best way to travel to the campfire? I'll be staying at the CR and would like to bring my niece one night. Is it anywhere near the horseback riding and petting zoo area? I'd like to take her there as well.

I believe it's around $2 for the smore package (some marshmallows, a stick, chocolate and crackers).

Thanks.. Very reasonable.. Since we're gonna be there 10 days I think I will add this to our must do list on one of our nights we're not in the parks..

We went last week and no one in my family (DH, DS4 or DS3) were impressed by the campfire. There was only 1 small fire ( 4 small logs in what appeared to be a oversized BBQ) and the s'more pack was $5 for 2 candy bars, a package of graham crackers and lots of Marshmellows. Before we bought the s'more pack we asked how many it would make and we were told 8-12 smores, there was enough crackers and marshmellows for this, but not enough chocolate. Even the boys wanted to know why the fire was so small, we camp on a regular basis so they are used to a little larger campfire.

The sing-a-long was nice, and the kids did enjoy meeting Chip and Dale. I do have to say that the night we were there the meet and greet with Chip and Dale was very organized and they went up and down each isle to greet the kids instead of it being a free for all.

At what time does the movie begin and how much earlier thenthe start time should we get there to ensure a very good seat?
