I just thought since it was at a hotel, it would be something fun to do on one of our "off" days. I also hear that Cinderella's castle is mostly princess characters, so I think my son would enjoy Chef Mickey's better. Any opinions on Chef Mickey's? Thanks

We did it for breakfast the day after Thanksgiving. Our kids loved it. Several characters were there that day. Chip, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto. I can't remember if Dale was there, he may have been, too.
Your son would probably love it too. :)

We really enjoy Chef Mickeys. The food is very good and there is a great variety. Character interaction is always very good too.
We have done Cindys twice, but with 2 DSs, thats not top priority. Plus we do enjoy the greater variety of food at CMs better.

Which meal did you have? Is one better than the other?

Weve only had breakfast there, about 5 times now, but never dinner. It seems to be a consistently great experience.

We've done Chef Mickey's on our first night for our last 2 trips. We've enjoyed it very much each time. The food is pretty good - not great, but not bad either. It's great to start your trip with all the main characters there. We'll always go back until they give us a reason not to!

We had dinner here 12/1. We have enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast here. The food is always good and the character interaction is wonderful.

Over the last few trips we have done dinner since we usually don't go into the parks the first day. We use that day to travel, get set up in the hotel and swim. CM gets us in the mood for the vacation.

You can't go wrong with either meal here.

We have our last dinner in the "world" at Chef Mickey's on every trip. It is just the two of us and we enjoy the fun, loud atmosphare of Chef Mickey's and the concourse area of the Contemporay.

We went to Chef Mickey's in June for breakfast and grandson (2yr old) loved it. We had 6 adults and one child and everyone enjoyed to food. The interaction with the characters is great. We missed Mickey, and our server told us if he did not come before we left to let her know. She escorted us to an area that he could see Mickey before we left.

We have done Chef Mickey's two different times and both times the kids had a great time - the food isn't bad - my daughter is picky and she is always able to find something there - and I have a sweet toth adn just love the desserts - anyway I was wondering for those who have been to the Poly for the luau if you had to choose between Chef Mickeys and the luau which would you choose? I pay for 4 adults now even though both kids are not big eaters (ages 12 and 15).... thanks

should check my spelling - that would be a sweet tooth I have...lol

In the past we have done Chef Mickey's (dinner) on one of our pool/non-park days or our first day there! We LOVE it and we're doing it again! :cool1:
