Can you tell me what this is exactly? I have been invited to a "party" on Friday but have declined the invite. Just wondering what it is and would it have cost me money.

I always feel obligated to make a purchase at the parties that I am invited to (Creative Memories, Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef), I am sure you get the idea.
Thanks,
Jenny

I USED to be a customer/marketing executive. I liked the products, but was unable to give it the time that I needed to in order to make money. There would be no "purchase" per say at the party. They do hope to set you up as a customer, and you buy what you want WHEN you want it. The company has a good reputation and the products are very good.

This is not a "party" where you would be buying something, but it is hopefully going to be a great time to learn about wellness products. The company is great and we have used the products for over 20 years. Go and learn and enjoy! If you decide to become a customer- even better! Check out their website and YouTube- good resources. Have fun!

Melaluca is nothing but tea tree oil. It comes from the Melaluca Tree also known as the Ti Tree.

I know that if they try to get you to work for them, it's like a MLM/Pyramid... I know this because I contacted them several years ago, thinking it may have been a great way to make money. Well, not only did the whole thing seem like a huge Pyramid (where you have to also buy 'x' amount of their items per month and recruit others to sell) but years after I decided I didn't want to sell for them, I was still getting phone call after phone call from people trying to get me to "join".

Go, enjoy the party, don't waste too much money, and don't get roped in to being one of their salespeople. And, whatever you do, DON'T give them your phone number or home address!!!!!

I love my Mela products, but I like tea tree oil. It's not for everyone but at the "party" you will learn about the products and opportunities they may have for you. I personally love the product but I don't sell to anyone, no one else I know is interested. LOL

I have visited such "parties" when I worket with Melaleuca. Don't worry you don't have to buy anything. You can learn more about their products (they are very good, trust me), and maybe you would like to join them. melaleuca.pissedconsumer.com/ Here you can find people who use these products and work with Mela. :cool1:

GO to the party. You will learn stuff. Leave your purse at home. You aren't being asked to buy anything. I love love love my Melaleuca products and wouldn't trade them for anything. I owe it to the person that told me about how to make my home safer and healthier 7 years ago. The ONLY thing my 4 kids have been to the doctor for now (in 7 years) is strep throat. What a difference some simple changes made. No more asthma treatments, no more eczema, no more sick sick feverish throwing up kids. Just my testimony but even if you aren't interested in Melaleuca products they will teach you what to look for and things to do to benefit you and your family. Just my 2 cents! Go to the party! Have fun!
