Has anyone been on the Haunted Hayride this year?

We have done the Haunted Hayride each year since 2006. We were under-impressed by the last two. Has anyone been on it this year? How was it?

According to all of the information that I can find on the Haunted Carriage Rides, the first one is not scheduled until October 2, 2009.

So, one would need a time machine (or at least a flex capacitor or something) to have experienced it yet in 2009.

I'll bet someone (cough, cough) will try it out this year and post a report (cough, cough), but the someone I am thinking of will not do so until mid-October.

I am down to my last one but will let it go for a fair price ;)

How much do you want for it?

Would you take this time machine that I have in trade?:

It seems to be in perfectly good working order, but I don't have the owner's manual, so all it does is give me an electric shock every time I use it.

We check in Oct 4th. Is this carriage ride in the campground? What is the cost? Or approx cost if you know. I would love to check it out and report back to the all my Fort Fiends!

Yes, it's in the campground. The cost is $60 per carriage. The carriage will hold 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children. The cost is the same, regardless of the number of passengers.

If you search haunted carriage rides, you will find a very detailed report from last year.

I already booked our carriage ride for Oct. 9th. I would call now and book your reservation before it is sold out. We went last year and our grandchildren loved it. There had a CD player that narrated the story of the Headless Horseman while we rode in a carriage. The highlight was when the headless horseman chased us to the bridge. Hopefully, it will be a little different this year. Try to reserve a time slot when it is dark.

I didn't realize they weren't having them yet. So thank you for the information including the need for a time machine to answer a question that could have been answered simply by typing: they haven't started yet.
