What kinds of things are in there now? Name some celebrities who have donated items for sale available right now? price ranges? ie nothing i saw was cheaper than $.....


in '94 i bought a sharks' tooth style mother of pearl with 18kk gold pendant for $60 for my mum from the collection of Cher!

I used to love that shop and havent been there sine 1994 myself!

Going to Mgm at christmas but I get the nasty feeling its no more as I cant seem to find it mentioned in any guidebooks

I love MGM because it reminds me of my home town, Hollywood . When we used to walk to our school we used to cut through the Crossroads of the World or later when it was gated the Blessed Sacrament Church. MGM is full of facades of buildings that I recognize and Sid's is one of them but I didn't know you could buy cool stuff in there! Will have to have a better look this next trip.

Yes Sid Cahenas's is still there, we love to get old movie posters and depending on when we go there is always something new!
They had a tonne of autograph pics there, but when I go I am usually carting three kids and I never have more than a few minutes to really look.
We love that store!

Hmmm... the last time I was there they had some of the Desperate Housewives autographs, Lost actors autographs, Grays Anatomy, Star Wars, Pirates of the Carribbean. Some of the movie posters are signed. The kids from Harry Potter (and some of the other actors.) Light Sabor replicas.

Some friends bought me a birthday present there. It was a pewter mug used in the Broadway version of Beauty and the Beast and had been signed by Donnie Osmond.
