Hi

Has anyone been in March.

What is the weather like and how often do they close water parks.

I usually go in June, but my husbands exams are in June so we can no longer then and we are to desperate to go.

Any info would be great

Thanks

Michelle

We were at WDW from March 4th to 11th of last year. The weather was in the low 70s most days early in the week (cooler than that in the mornings - more like 60). Later in the week, the weather was beautiful, in the high 70s and low 80s. That meant we weren't dying of the heat while we were touring in the parks, which was great for the kids. They made it through every day with no problems at all.

When we were there Blizzard Beach was closed but Typhoon Lagoon was open, and the weather was just perfect on the day we went. We're definitely planning on going back at that time of year again. The crowds were minimal until late in the week, and we got to see everything we wanted to without waiting in line. It's a very nice time of year to visit WDW.

This year will be our fourth trip in March (leaving Sunday can't wait). We've had some unseasonably hot weather (last year it was close to 90 one day!) but typically it has been in the upeer 70's and 80's Two years ago we had one day of torrential down pours until about 3:00 in the afternoon, but that was the only rain that year Other years we've had over cast days once or twice, but not a lot of rain. The parks usually close between 7 and 8 depending on how close you are to Easter. Last year Easter was early and on the Sunday before Easter (I think the date was March 22) MK was open until 10 or 11 which was GREAT!

Every year we hit one water park and they have always closed at 5:00 (way too early for my family of fish!).

Thank you for the feed back we love Disney, as we have not been since 1998 we want to make the most of it. We will be taking our 4 year old daughter with us and knowing Florida's heat it maybe a little to hot for Casey in June. We dont want to walk around in trousers.

THank you for your advice, just need my hubbie to make up his mind.

Michelle

Hi,

I was in Orlando from 1st to 7th March this year.

The weather on 3rd and 4th was a little cool early in the mornings for t-shirts /shorts so I had light trousers and a light sweather but it warmed up in the afternoons.

On the 5th-7th it warmed up with highs around 85-88 ( 10 degrees above normal) and still fine in the evenings with mostly sunny weather but with a few clouds occaisonallly.

Olny one afternoon with a heavy shower followed by lighter intermittent showers ( this was the day at Epcot so I had a poncho )-not too bad.

Regards

We went mid March in 2000. Weather was good although sometimes chilly in the evenings. Parks were busy-ish with lots of college kids (Spring break?).

Still had a great time. Enjoy.:bounce:

Just got back this past weekend. We were there from March 8th to the 15th, the weather was beautiful mid 80s all week. Only rained 1 night and that was Sunday evening March 9th but it was still so warm out the rain didnt really put a damper on our fun.
Beautiful weather all week, oh I miss it so!!!!
