Has anyone been able to book online (180 days out) before 6 a.m.?

Just wondering if it's worth checking through the night tonight...:hyper:

The way it was explained to me by a lovely CM when I enquired back in February before my 180+10 day, is that the dining reservation online system is set up to switch dates at 6am (eastern time) daily. Phone lines open at 7am once the computers have switched dates.

The reason I asked was that someone mentioned earlier that they saw availability at 5:55. A further search found another lady who said she made ADRs at 5:45...

I haven't, but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen. I would be very surprised if happens more than once in a blue moon (you'd hear about it here on the Disboard if it did happen), so I wouldn't hold much hope that it would happen on your night/day.

The person who made the ADR at 5:55 am seems like the time is within the differences between clocks. Meaning, the Disney system might think it's 6:00 am, and the person on the computers clock might say 5:55 am. The 15 minute difference is a little less likely to be due to clock differences, but still possible.

I made my ADR's a few weeks ago. I was not able to make an ADR until 6am sharp. I tried a few times several minutes prior to 6am and it would not let me complete. pixiedust:

Good to know! I will probably get more sleep knowing that!:thumbsup2

I made mine by phone. I had them on speed dial and rang in at 6:59. I got the recording; I then hit redial and got through at 7:00 sharp.

edit to add: truth be told, I had been dialing and hitting redial for about 5 minutes. When I got the recording at 6:59, I thought I had timed it perfectly but missed it by a few seconds.

Just did it this morning. 5:55-5:59 unavailable. The minute comp said 6:00 it went through.

I did the same thing, logged on at 5:50 am, tried, and then kept hitting refresh until 6 am! Had my sheet ready in order of which restaurants on which days and I was good to go!

Your computer (and disney's servers) should be synced to the NIST atomic clock, so you'll all see the 'true' time. If it's turned off, then you could start seeing differences between clocks, but most everyone is synced properly. It's unlikely that the servers would roll over early if they're scheduled for 6am.

Does online open on your 180 day mark at 6am eastern time, so if you are central time zone, do I need to log in at 5am? Need to know....my 180 day is Monday!!! Thanks!
