Has anyone been able to book a AAA rate over Easter week?

I was told by one CM that AAA rates have a blackout period over Easter week, therefore, I would have to pay full price.

She seem to be confused at times during the reservation and had to put me on hold a few times. Therefore, I am a little suspicious about her information. Has anyone been able to book a resort using AAA?

I tried two years ago to use all the discounts I knew, but had to pay full price at the BC, which was double for what I paid one summer there. The S/D honors a lot of different discounts year round, and I found it a great place to be also. Saying that, I am thinking of paying top dollar to be closer to the Disney resort, and really wish they didn't have that black-out time!

I booked a AAA rate for CBR for the week before Easter 2003. I booked it in September.

It is true, the week of Easter is a AAA black out period. I tried to book myself, but was unable to. When the DC discounts came out, I was able to get the same discount with them for that time period. So if you are a DC member, give it a shot.
