I just booked Alamo clicking on the Insiders reservation link in my e-mail and got a better deal than the travelocity code. I went down from $415 for 9 days to $353 (including taxes and fees) for a minivan. Best of all - I know it's legit!
Yes, no problems at all. Walked out to the fast break kiosk in the garage and was in the car in 5 minutes. Rate matched what I booked in October using this code.
We flew in and out of Orlando in February. On 2/17 we picked up a minivan at MCO and returned it to TPA on 2/20. On 2/26 we picked up another minivan at TPA and returned it to MCO on 3/1. Both rentals were with Budget and we used the Travelocity code X474200 both times and had no problems with either rental. Both reservations were made in mid-January and the code was on both email confirmations.
I just used this code to book a minivan for June for a total of $298.07 in conjunction with coupon code MUGZ029 $30 coupon. Cant beat that Glad to hear the code works.
we're going down in two weeks and I have a minivan reserved, but we have to go to the counter because it's our first time reserving with the company. I'm scared! I hope they don't give us a hard time. It's such a great rate.
I was told the same thing, using Budget, but we went straight to the garage counter (no one in line & counter had a million people in it You must already be signed up for FastBreak with CC, DL info. already stored) and had no problems.
Just used the code & $30 off coupon code for Spring Break trip (4/16-4/23) with no questions asked. I made my ressie directly thru Budget with the codes inserted and my friend did her ressie directly thru Carrentalsavers.com (which is also Travelocity, without any codes; we also did this as an experiment and she got the same discount price but you can't use the $30 coupon so my bill was cheaper ).
Her bill: $302.96 (excellent!)
My bill: $267.82 (FABULOUS! )
Both were 7 dy. rentals; I had a minivan (Chry. Town & Country w/Sat. radio) and they ended up with a Kia Sorento (I think) instead of the Ford Edge they had last summer (flew in late, around 11 p.m. due to storm delays). With the rental prices that were out there ($1000 & up), we got MORE than a bargain!
The Dis ROCKS! Thank you, again, to all who contribute such valuable information.
Just checking in to see if anyone has used this code lately. I just saved HUGE on a two week rental for 1st two weeks in July. I have read through the posts and most say no problem...But I am still nervous about using it!
Hi:
We used this code without any problems last month. We returned two cars on May 1st. No questions were asked at all. I had a minivan from MCO and we picked up a mid-size car at Old Towne, Kissimmee for my parents. Neither Budget agency had a problem. It was a huge savings since we rented over Easter week.
