Has anyone actually been asked for resort ID on early entry days??

I could swear that for night time EMHs they do let non-resort guests stay as long as they want to BUT they cannot ride the rides without a wristband. Not the same for AM EMH though. Without resort ID, they will not (should not) let you in.

Disney transportation is not only for resort guests. Anyone with a legal park ticket can use any and all Disney transportation media.

We have had to show our resort ID for every AM EMH we have gone to and we have seen guests without wristbands refused entry to rides at evening EMH many times. Do some manage to get on rides? I'm sure they do. Do any manage to stay for the whole three hours and ride everything? I doubt it.

Always been asked for resort id for morning EMH even for my children.

Well, according to the WDW web site Disney Transportation is one of the perks for staying onsite, i.e. not available to offsite guests...

We did evening EMH three times during our last trip and every time we had to show our wristbands; CMs would not let anyone get on anything without one.

We've been asked to see our resort id's everytime we have gone to emh, morning and at night. We've also seen people escorted out in the evenings for not being able to produce one.

I've also been asked to show my bracelet when a CM couldn't see it.

Transportation is available to all guests, not just to those staying onsite.

We were there the week of the marathon and were asked for resort id everytime.

I was never asked to show my resort id for EMH am. but I always took Disney transportation.

The CM's may not be "looking" for wristbands but they do check for them. The wristbands are very brighly colored and reflective for a reason. It is actually pretty hard to miss them even if you aren't specifically looking at a guests wrist.

I may be wrong but I thought guests without wristbands could stay in the park but not ride the rides and apparenlty shop.

>>> Transportation is a perk for on-site guests.

Disney transportation is provided at no extra charge for on-site guests and does not serve off-site hotels and resorts.

Disney transportation is available to off site guests but is not very useful to them unless they have something to do at the destination.

My question is if I have two friends who do not have resort ID's, then can they still stay in the park with me and not ride anything or buy anything? I know you can't do anything without the wrist band, but if they just stay in the park and watch, will the park care?
No problems having your friends stay in the park with you, except for their BOREDOM. I've never heard of CMs escorting people out of the parks during evening EMH. They're just simply not allowed to do anything but stand around and feel jealous of the WDW resort guests having a good time. Maybe the thought is that those people will choose to stay onsite NEXT TIME. Or maybe the thought is it would be WAAAAYY too labor-intensive and confrontational (i.e., very poor public relations) to try to sweep people out of the park.
