Has anybody used the ME tags and rented a car?

We were going to use ME for our hotel stay and then the DCL buses for our cruise portion.

We've figured out the prices and it's cheaper/easier to rent a car for our entire trip.

The first half we're staying on property and have received our tags. Can we check our luggage in at our airport and have it delivered to the hotel without us being on a bus?

No, one person from you party must be present on the bus. They do not allow ME to be used as a luggage delivery service. What we do is one of rents the car from MCO and the rest of us takes ME to the resort. We all meet at the resort. You can also rent your car from the 3 rental office locations within WDW, National and Alamo.

I was wondering the same thing since our rental car may not be big enough to hold all out luggage.

Oh well. We're shipping a box to DCL, but I thought it would be nice.

We do divide and conquer anyway. DH goes and gets the car rental and ds6 and I stay and do luggage searches.
