My hand-held is missing. I've pressed the handset locator button but can't find it anywhere.

Nobody in the house remembers when they last used it....... even though it is the primary phone in our house.......

I'm guessing I'll find it 30 minutes after I buy its replacement.......

Claudia! I was just thinking about you today, wondering how you and the family were.

I don't have it btw. ;)

in the cushions of the couch.......but last week it was under the couch in between the legs.......could be there too.......I have seen it once in the top part of the water bed near the pillows

Delswife's Truck!LOL

Check under any and all pre-teen/teen beds! That's usually where I find ours!LOL

Good Luck finding it!

One year we left ours outside all night laying on the ground next to the veggie garden. Worked fine after it dried out from the night/early morning moisture.

We have found ours in the couch, chair, bathroom, bedrooms, on & in cars, on the porch etc, etc.

Good luck, hope you find your phone before you have to replace it.

Do you have a Lazy boy recliner type chair, sometimes they fall in the cracks and down inside those kinds of chairs

i thought my ears were ringing!
i've heard it all day, but thought it was in my head -

i'll bring it right over...

Happy Holidays!

Lay Z Boy Recliner: that's where our remote was. The movers found it in the recliner the day we were moving. Of course it was found 3 weeks after we bought the replacement.

Maybe you could call the # from a cell & "listen" for the ring ... by turning off the ringers on the other phones ... that's of course if the battery isn't dead yet.

(edited for typos ... I can't spell when I'm tired :p )

Anytime ours comes up missing like that, it's always on the picnic table in the backyard (my dd takes it out there and forgets about it:rolleyes: ).

a quick story first,

one of my vendors drove down to his moms house in Austin, and was sitting on the couch (in her dogs favorite spot. His pager (set to vibrate) fell off his belt and into the couch. Well, his pager had state-wide range, so whenever he would get a page, the dog would jump up and run around the house. His poor mom thought the dog was going crazy (until she found his pager...)

I would check under/around the beds, couches and in the bathroom. Also the Kitchen and Laundryroom are god spots.

:)

I've dialed our number a dozen times and pressed the "handset locator" button just as often......... can't hear it anywhere.

I fear that DGD has put it somewhere and the battery is losing power. Soon, it may not permantently AWOL!

Did you check the toy box

Ever try totype with a cat lick ing your fingers, lots of fun :hyper:

You've got to get the Mickey one so when you hit the locator button you hear Mickey saying - "Hey pal, over here! Hey pal, over here!" My kids LOVE to do that! :)

When this has happened to us it is usually outside or up the street smashed, driving off with it on top of the car. I am bad for having the phone outside and sitting it on the tailgate of a vehicle and DH sits is on the roof. Out of this happening 3 times only once did it get smashed, the other times we found it safe and sound.

Here I thought we were the only family that loses our cordless phone, lol. My mom and sisters always seem to have theirs on the hook, lol. I need another one though because there is a huge piece broke off the bottom of mine (although it still works fine, lol) from where Ashli dropped it down the stairs

Try the recliner...mine was left in ours the day before a WDW trip and we couldn't find it when we got back. I gave up after six months. I bought the Mickey one and a week later, we found the other one (when we were packing for the next WDW trip and couldn't find one of our FRS radios)

That "Hey Pal, Over Here" has saved me many times...plus that battery lasts a LONG time! Half the time, DH has it and it falls between the cushions of the loveseat. It's loud enough that I can hear it when 'mickey' is being squashed.

The missing FRS radio? In the cushion of the sleeper sofa, so now we have three FRS walkie talkies. We don't even need them anymore, as we now have free mobile to mobile with t-mobile. I probably should ebay the walkie talkies!

Found it! Quite the mystery, too. It was in the baby's carseat, under a blanket.

Nobody knows why it would have been in the car, under a blanket....... but it is back!

Yea! Yahoo!!

How many calls did you miss?

So it wasn't in Delswife's truck but your car!LOL

Glad you found it!
