Hi I saw this advertised on another forum and wondered if anybody had ever used the service??
It looks fantastic and with 4 small children this would be perfect for us but I have a nagging feeling that i might have missed something !!

Haven't used them yet but have recommended them to others (I already had cars organised at the time).I know Peter as he is a super guy -a Brit who lives there who is offering a good service but obviously the prices are a little different to the well know car hire companies.E mail hi and ask for a quite he is always willing to answer questions and is quite approachable.

Have just booked this year after being an avowed Dollar Express man for years, but with 4 children, and a price of just a few dollars more + free child's seat, we thought we'd give it a go. Hoping that it cuts out 2 queues at least, (car reg + car pick up).

Not going til October though , so feedback will have to wait - from me at least!

We used them at Christmas & I can't speak highly enough of the service. I could have booked a minivan cheaper elsewere (about £40 less) but it was worth it to be whisked away from right outside the terminal door straight to the villa. No need to queue at the hire car desk, no wonering what car we were going to get & no having to shoehorn the extra luggage into the trunk & between the seats on the way back :lmao:

We've booked them again for this summer - a pleasant change to get such personal service these days :thumbsup2

Some find it actually saves them money as they can book a smaller car as there is no worrying about fitting all the cases in for the run to & from the airport

do they only drop off at villas or would they meet you at your hotel?? And sounds daft, but do you have to have the car for the whole holiday or could you just have it for a few days in the middle??

Hi,

They are happy to drop off at hotels and you can have the car for as long as you like!

We have booked them for our trip

xx

I priced up minivan for 3 weeks. Was nearly double the price of regular car-hire companies :confused3

Strange we've just booked for 20 days & it was cheaper than dollar.co.uk and between £30 - £60 more than booking with Budget, Alamo & Dollar through usrentacar. If you can get a 7 seater for less than £345 for 20 days with platinum insurance please let me know where :thumbsup2

We have booked with Peter for November and im really happy with the price - it is more money but only about £50 and to me the extra is a price im willing to pay !!!

I was quoted $1,200 for 21 days for a 7 seater minivan with Gold insurance from Peter.
Well done you getting a better deal :)

I didn't say I got a better deal - I was asking where you got a 7 seater for half that price? - as I would be tempted to cancel & rebook ;)

I said nearly double what other regular car hire operators were pricing ;)

Went for the dollar.co.uk as per Wayne's post :thumbsup2

Dollar.co.uk = £712 ~ approx $1150 at today's exchange rate (And that's a so called special rate of the day lol !)

What "regular" car hire companies are 'almost' half this please?

I think Cyrano is referring to the price glitch/error on the Dollar.co.uk website a couple weeks back. Wayne found it and posted it on the board.

Lots Dis'ers secured bargain deals. :thumbsup2

Yes that glitch was well publicised, I believe Wayne brought it over from the Dibb :thumbsup2

I'll pay a bit extra for the personal service but not hundreds of ££s ...... we all love a bargain :cheer2: but I'm getting quotes of between £675 & £720 from the "regular" companies that I know of :(
