Has Anybody Ever Eaten Geoduck?

HEY!! THAT'S MY COLLEGE MASCOT!! Yes, I went to the Evergreen State College in Olympia Washington and yes, that was my school mascot. "Go Geoducks go, through the rain and the mud let's go!" Anyway, yes they're really yummy. I worked at a fish market in East Olympia after college and the owner told me, "watch when a couple comes into the store and they see the geoducks. The will always smile and the man will frown and look away." It was true every single time

Of course I've had one. I've even dug out the one I later had for dinner.

BTW: It's what we tell young kids the state bird is. Nothing is better than the laugh you get when a California kid says a Geoduck is the state bird during a oral report.

I understand that! LOL! I try real hard not to unless I absolutely have to. Hotdogs and geoducks are in the same category to me -- the "no thanks" category.
