We are planning a trip for next June to WDW. There will be six of us: me, DH, DD15, DD12, DF15 and DF12. I want to go back to Coronado Springs and stay in 2 rooms. One for my DH and me and one for the girls. Is it possible to get connecting rooms and how hard is that? We love this resort and this would be the only way we could stay there. Thank you for any input!

We've done this lots of times and have never had a problem. Some people have. At check-in, just make sure you've been given connecting rooms. It's easier t fix while you're at the desk instead of trying to change it from your room. We love CSR too!

Although they can't guarantee connecting rooms, you can request them (and they almost always grant the request). We're actually doing the exact same thing with another family in May, and we've done it before. We've never had a problem with room requests. Like the previous poster said, just be sure to double-check that they gave you connecting rooms when you check in. If they didn't (and there are still connecting rooms available), they should be more than happy to change your room assignments.

Be aware that that is ONLY a request, and they do honestly try to honor it , but it can happen that you don't get them..it happened to my SIL and my BIL.NOt only were they not connecting, they weren't on the same floor.Because the resort was full they couldn't fix it for 3 days.

OP,
You might want to check into the Junior Suites at Coronado Springs. Two rooms, connecting, and two full bathrooms.
