My husband found this Private Aloha Plates food tour by Lanai Tabura on Trip Advisor - it has some decent reviews (although not a LOT of reviews in general). DH thought it sounded interesting but I think it's out of our budget ($199 pp) and I'm not sure it's worth that much. It's a 3 hour tour from Waikiki that includes lunch. Just wondered if anyone else has heard of it or done it before?? Thx

Two years ago, I researched Waikiki food tours and opted to do the Hawaiian Food Tour by Bike in Oahu that was listed on Viator. I had a great time, but you do have to be comfortable riding a bike in traffic. I remember looking at the tour you’re interested in, but decided not to do it because it didn’t go to the places I was interested in. The tour I did took us all over Waikiki to some of the famous places and I think we stopped at 6 or 7 places. When we stopped, items were either family style or you got one of whatever was showcased at the establishment. Although it may seem high, $199 or higher is the average price you’ll pay for a food tour. For another option, check out the walking food tour by Bike Tour Hawaii. Their website says they were supposed to begin their walking tours again this year.

Hmm no. Lanai is a reputable food ambassador in Hawai’i but at that price… I could provide you probably similar or better options for free! 😂
