I just booked for our trip and while talking to the cm she said that although it's not a character meal you do meet them (fairy godmother, etc.) in the lobby of the castle and have your picture taken and they MAY OR MAY NOT go up to the second floor to your table.

I'm curious if anyone has ever seen them in the dinning room while your eating?

Also is the picture package worth it? She started talking about a free litho included.

We ate at CRT for dinner in January. I think it changed in February to include more of an appearance from the Fairy Godmother, but this is what we experienced:

Cinderella was in the lobby taking photos & signing autographs when we got there. We didn't see any characters in the dining area. We chose not to buy the package because the photo was on our PhotoPass anyway--although the packaging & litho were nice. We enjoyed our dinner alot. I should say that I have 2 little boys, so princesses were not so much of a big deal----to them.

Hope this helps!

We did this in Feb, Cinderella is down stairs for your to have your picture taken and autograph if you want. This is included in the meal as well as the lithograph. No extra charge. The Fairy godmother and two mice do a short little song skit to celebrate, birthdays anniversaries etc and the mice do come around. Here are a couple of pictures, but no autographs.

In regard to the picture package: A coworker just returned from WDW and showed me the pictures they had taken with Cinderella-absolutely beautiful! I was quite impressed!
As far as the Fairy Godmother & the mice: We are going for our first time for dinner in August. From what I understand, you meet with & get the photo taken with Cinderella downstairs. Then, when you go upstairs for dinner, the Fairy Godmother and the mice are there for a little "show." They do not go around to each table though. This is what i have been told-someone please correct me if I am wrong!

You're spot on. We just did this in June. The "show" is probasbly 5-10 minutes. They cover the whole area but are pretty much moving constant;ly. The mice did seem to pause rarely if aa cute kid came out and you had your camera ready and the stars were aligned....

Glad we did it, won't do dinner again.

This is interesting to know. I haven't been there in a while.

This is all good to know. We are doing dinner for the first time in December. I have 2 boys, so they dont really care about princesses. They do like eating inside the castle- even my Prince Charming liked that! :goodvibes

We have a boy too and he isn't really interested in all the princess stuff but loves the castle with the armour so we figured dinner would be good for him.

Thank you for all the posts. It really does help!

What is the photo package all about?
Is this something extra you pay for or is it included?

We really enjoyed this! I really had low expectations and about cancelled it, but I'm so glad we didn't. The food was OK... but everything else made it worth going for.
