Hello - been a while since I last posted - but always lurking and watching the DIS on YouTube.

I am sure this has been discussed as in other parties attempting - but thought I would throw it out there. In our upcoming trip, we are looking to attempt something for fun. We are calling it "Treat Yourself Day".

Whereby we are attempting to hit all 4 parks in a single day:cool1:

Animal Kingdom -> Bus -> Disney Studios -> Boat -> Epcot -> Monorail -> Magic Kingdom

Clearly we will not be able to enjoy many attractions - we are coming up on our 17th Disney vacation and thought ... what the heck let's mix it up.:rotfl2:

We went ahead and grabbed our FP+ allotment for Magic Kingdom later in the day.

I travel often with my adult son who is disabled. On one trip I had our last day planned and the night before was just not feeling it. I said let's be crazy. We got up early and we did all four parks! (Slower season so rides were easier to do but goal was three at each.) We used all Disney transportation staying at CSR.

Animal Kingdom: Tusker Breakfast, Everest, Dinosaur
Bus to hotel to change as it was hot, especially in AK
Magic Kingdom: Haunted Mansion, Buzz Lightyear and one other
Hollywood Studios: I don't remember which rides but we had late lunch at 50's Prime
EPCOT: Test Track, Soarin, a few others things and enjoyed Food & Wine. Illuminations and back to hotel.

So we basically went non-stop for 12 hours, 4 parks, 2 table service, plenty of attractions, Food & Wine and Illuminations. He was a real trooper and while I don't think he understood what we had done, he got a kick out of hitting his favorite stuff in one day!

That is amazing! Thank you for sharing.

We are all pumped-up to attempt - well may not my wife as she has her reservations. My teenage daughter is a bit weary on all of us wearing the same tee shirt - commemorating the attempt:rotfl2:

I love your ride selections and how you mixed in the dining. We are shooting for 50s Prime Time for lunch and then CRT at Magic Kingdom for Dinner.

The ADRs have me nervous as they really tie you down to a schedule - flexibility will not necessarily be there.

Last year on my birthday (summer) my niece and I did that. My daughter is a CM so we didn't even start until she left at noon. We went to AK and did the Safari and had lunch at Flametree then drove to Hollywood Studios where we saw Beauty and the Beast and did the Great Movie Ride. We then drove to MK and took the monorail to Epcot for Margaritas in Mexico and my niece wanted to try some type of something in France. We did stalk the attraction my daughter was working at that day but didn't see her so we didn't go on it. Then we headed back over to MK via monorail for the parade and fireworks (and we had a Starbucks since it was new).

It was a great day and honestly if we had planned it out and started earlier we could have done more but this was great for us.

DO IT! My kids are all adults and I will still have them match at times, especially for special stuff. It's the one place that it's okay to do it. I once even made my DS college roommate match us, and he hardly knew us. Put her in charge of designing it! I even made these last fall for the Unleash the Villains event. I just painted it with purple and black fabric paint on cheap walmart shirts. We got SO many compliments! and people wanting to know where I bought them. Go big or go home! :thumbsup2

My husband and I did it in October with a nap in the middle of the day too! It can be done!

I remember trying this many times starting at AK and ending at MK and always failing; i always seemed to miss one park in the equation. Finally, luck was on my side one day because I did it! I started at DHS around noon one day, just wanting to spend a day at the parks. I later hopped over to AK and realized that this would be the day to do all four parks. I later went to Epcot and MK and finally succeeded! My goal was three attractions in each park and it went pretty well. It's lots of fun but my tip would probably be to try and do DHS or Epcot first, the parks with those 2 or 3 attractions with excruciating wait times, and then do AK since it tends to slow down at the end of the day.

We did it on NYE 2012. Started at the contemporary with parasailing, then to AK then to DHS then walked to EP then monorail to MK and watched the fireworks. We rode headliners in each park but that's it. We also pulled Fps in each park as a souvenir. It was exhausting and the kids were less than thrilled especially with the walk from DHS to EP but at least we can say we did it.

We did once (before fastpass+). Our day was:

DHS - RNR, TOT, fast pass for TSM
Bus to AK - Dinosaur, EE, Tough to be a Bug
Bus back to DHS - TSM, Beauty & the Beast, Back Lot Tour, Lights, Motors, Action
Car to MK
Monorail to Epcot - Test Track (single rider line), Soarin (Stand-by)
Monorail to MK - Small World, HM, Pirates and Wishes

We started at rope drop and ended at park close at MK. We did do this during a slower time of year (last week of April). The longest line we waited in was Soarin (45 min). Most everything had a wait of 15-20 min.

While it was exhausting, it was fun!

My very first trip to WDW was a 1 day trip while in FL for a church retreat. I had NO idea what I was doing! We did all 4 parks in 1 day. It was just my sis and I as the others in our group has kids and wanted to do the character thing. It was the 1st week of December so that helped. It wasn't until I started researching for our 2nd trip that we realized just how much we accomplished!!

We started our at MK and rode Stich, Buzz, Laugh Floor.
Went to AK rode Everest (momentarily got stuck at the top), rapids, dinosaur.
Went to HS rode TOT and ate at the commissary.
Went to Epcot. Rode Mission space and briefly toured small part of WS.
Ended the night at MK rode space mountain, tea cups, philharmagic, and stumbled upon wishes. Did some shopping then took the boat to the area where the offsite hotel shuttles wait. We ended up crossing during the electrical parade! We didn't even know that existed.

It was a very magical day. More so because we knew nothing about touring plans or FP strategies. We just knew we were going to have an amazing time! My feet were beyond sore at the end of the night and I was beyond worn out but it was wonderful!!

My daughter and I just did this last month. Our aim was to ride at least one ride and eat at least one cupcake in each park.

We started off with Animal Kingdom and arrived in time for 9am opening. We headed straight to Expedition Everest but, sadly, it was closed due ot technical problems. We stood in line for about 10 minutes but when there was no sign of it opening again, we had to admit defeat. We debated trying another ride but we had booked our FP+ at our next park so really needed to get moving. We then went to Kusafiri Bakery for a cupcake, only to be told they don't get the cupcakes until after 11. Eventually, we managed to get a Cotton-Top Tamarin cupcake from a kiosk on the way out of the park.

We got the bus to DHS, where we did Towere of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster, then had a St Patrick's day cupcake from Starring Rolls, rode Toy Story Midway Mania, then left and caught the friendship boat to Boardwalk. We were staying at the villas so we popped back to pick up some sun cream and get a drink of water, then went to the Boardwalk Bakery and had a Oreo cupcake.

We walked to epcot and went straight to Future World, rode Mission:Space and Spaceship Earth, then went to Sunshine Seasons and had a Lemon cupcake.

Then we caught the monrail to Magic Kingdom and rode Buzz Lightyear. We had dinner at be Our Guest and had the Lemon cupcake for dessert.

We were both pretty tired and a bit sick of cupcakes by now :rotfl: Our original plan had been to stay for the parade and fireworks but instead we got the monorail to the Contemporary, where we wanted to get the Frozen cupcake (we were going to save it and have it for breakfast the next morning) but a gentleman in front of us go thte last one. So we just went back to Boardwalk.

It was a great day and we had a fabulous time. I am so glad we did it, it felt like a real achievement and was a lot of fun.

Hope you enjoy your adventure just as much :thumbsup2

On my last day if my Dec 2013 trip I hit all 4 parks and used Disney transportation. Started off at AK (they opened at 8am) and rode Everest and got my pic taken in front of the tree.

Next stop MK (via bus to TTC) hindsight is always 20/20 it might have been faster to bus to the Contemporary and walk. I got in about 9:20
Rode Space, Buzz, Met Merida (this was my main reason for hitting MK 2nd), BTMRR, Splash, HM and stopped for a Dole Whip

Next stop Epcot via monorail. Got there around 12:30. Stood in a 70 standby line but time went sorta quickly b/c I talked to the family next to me. Then saw a couple of the last Holiday around the World storytellers. Also stopped in Germany for some salted milk choc caramels. Mmmm good.

Final stop HS (via friendship boat). Got there about 4:00 and rode RnRC via FP+, ToT (standby - no wait...I had a FP+ but it was for a later time and couldn't change it). Got a coffee and sat and drank that til 5 when my FP+ for TSMM opened up. Rode that and then got some popcorn and sat on a curb in the streets if america waiting for the Osborne lights to turn on. Stayed there for an hourish and then back to Pop. I think I got there a little before 8.

I had the most fantabulous day. Exhausting but knew I was going to be sitting the whole next day so I didn't care. I kind of wish I could have gone back to MK that night to see Wishes one last time but Osborne Lights are also a fantastic end to a trip.

Have fun OP!

If you search around I think a few years back someone did Magic Kingdom in Orlando in the morning and Disneyland California in the evening. He showed the tickets with same date in the post. Now that is crazy!!!!:hyper:

This is KILLING ME! I've got our plans completely set and looking pretty good but the temptation to do this is really getting to me!! I have 3 teen DD's that would most likely be all about it! OP - have a GREAT time! :goodvibes

We have done it a few times during value season and managed to ride all of our favorite rides in each park. We start with the morning EMH park and end with the evening EMH park, with the other two wedged in between. We do counter service meals and snacks so the meals don't eat up much time, and we try to do this on our last park day. We try to end in MK, so the trip ends with Wishes.

We did 3 parks and a waterpark with a 13, 10, and 7 year old about 2 years ago. We weren't even onsite. We had a cab grab us at Hard Rock Hotel around 6am, made rope drop, we skipped Animal Kingdom. Had annual passes.. Ended the day at DTD for some Godiva Hot Chocolate around 11pm. We paid for it the next morning, but wow was it fun. Almost like our own personal amazing race.
:hourglass:hourglass:hourglass:hourglass

I've done three. We didn't make it to AK that day.

It was during a busy time so we spent way too much time going from park to park and going through the gates. But it was fun!

I did this too on the leap day 2012 celebration. Flew from IL to MCO on 2/28 and went to Epcot that evening. Next morning 2/29 I was at MK at 4:50am waiting to get in at 6. Played around at MK til 10am then too ME back to MCO and flew to Anaheim. Got to DL about 8 if I remember but the place was PACKED and it took an hour to get into the park. Left the next day around 8am. Fun exhausting expensive trip but I have my pic in front of both castles on the same day! And in my twisted head that is something to be proud of. =) I have heard of folks hitting all the main Disney parks including the ones overseas all on the same date. Those travel plans make my head spin tho. Would not want to be planning that trip but I'd go along for the ride!

Do it, do it! It's a fun rush! Although I would recommend doing it towards the end of your trip b/c it is one tiring day. If they decide to allow hopping with FP+ it would make things even easier.
