I hope I got the abbreviation correct. I was thinking of using the food vouchers there, since the Allears menu shows creole type food and ribs. Is this food good & do you get a big enough portion to share? We will not be staying there, but I will ask DH to make a special trip for dinner if the food is good.

The last time that I stayed there was last June & I want to say the rib place was closed. They had the pizza/pasta & then chicken/hamburgers/fajitas.... The rib place was closed off with drapes & plants. It may have since re-opened...

Stayed in early April 04, and the food court is more basic.
Bakery, nachos, chicken/hamburger place and a pizza/pasta place. The food was pretty fresh, but it didn't stand out in my opinion. Always plenty of seating although service is slow during peak times. I really don't recall and ribs/creole items on the menu, so you might want to call them.

Boatwrights (next to the food court) has a delicious brekfast (omlettes were good and made to order, the kids got the traditional mickey pancakes). Not sure what their lunch and dinner menu are.

Boatrights dinning hall has some creole food, but I don't remember the food court having anything that one might consider creole except maybe the red beans and rice.

I think I saw where POFQ had creole food. We're staying there in 10 days and ordered food vouchers to use.

Just returned from POR (3/27), the food court can only be described as below average compared to counter service in the parks IMO. This is not good!! The only high point was the bakery (great fresh baked cinnamon rolls at 6am). Also note during Spring Break hot food was only available between (7am-10pm), this did not work out well with EMH and the extended park hours. The Grab and Go area ran out of salads and sandwiches almost every evening. They did offer pizza til midnight but this option did not appeal to us.

We had one dinner at Boatwrights, the entrees were very good, but the service was spotty (no drink refills).

I enjoyed the Mexican food from the stand next to the Bakery. They had really good Taco salads in bread bowls. Huge servings, for only $5.75.

I also agree that the bakery has great stuff too. Cookies, pies, cinnamon buns, ice cream. All delicious.:earsboy:
