Has any Annual Passholders gotten their magic bands yet?

We are annual passholders and received our bands for our November, January and March trips. I did not know there was a problem.

There isn't really a problem. It is just that APs with no previous or upcoming stays (on-site) are just now being allowed to get MBs. I am a local AP so I don't ever stay on site (I only live 25 mins away). I was finally able to customize my band a couple of weeks ago and mine shipped this past Friday. Hope to get mine soon!

Please excuse me if it has been discussed, but make sure to look under the Magic Bands in the box and you will see an envelope that contains passholder ID cards, for discounts and parking. I almost threw mine away.

Mine shipped Friday also and are showing as out for delivery today.

Yeah, I just got an email alert that it had reached Orlando so I should be getting mine today as well!

We went to Epcot a few months ago and they asked if we waned to be part of the testing for AP's, so we said "of course". We signed up right there on Sunday night, and the bands came UPS on Tuesday. I was surprised they were so fast but now, I would guess the extra load has slowed it down. We also got some cards that are supposed to be used for parking and discounts. The first few times using it for parking, the people in the booth had no idea what it was supposed to be. They let us go, but I just keep my cards with us as well.

got one of my annual pass magic bands today the other one still is showing on the tracking number electronic shipping received, also upon receiving my magic band i got a black card when i have the normal annual pass not the seasonal or is the gold card just for premium annual passholders which allows access to water parks ?

You should have gotten a gold card. I saw someone else on this thread (or maybe it was another one) had the same problem. They didn't have much luck on what to do other than go to guess relations.

I have a DVC Annual Pass, not the Premium, and I received the Gold Card.

yeah it says go to guest relations so i'm going to have to wait till im in Disney Come May to see what happens. Pretty Weird.

The Black Card indicates no parking and should only be included with the Passes that don't include parking. All others should receive the Gold Card which includes parking.

i know that i always had parking benefits with my annual pass i don't have the seasonal so thats why im wondering why i got the black one when im suppose to get the gold one.

There have been a couple other posts where the passholder received the Black card in error.

I received the black card instead of the gold and went to guest services yesterday to change it. They told me it was not possible and the card had to be mailed to my home address. She had to reset my account and I then went to MDE and ordered different bands - she said they would send the correct card with them!

Thanks for that update. Now I know what to do if that happens to me today. On the bright side, now you have another set of bands right?

Did anyone get the wrong band color? I ordered Yellow for my daughter and it looks like it's showing Blue in the system (and that is probably what is shipping to us).

Did this happen to anyone else?

The box they arrive in is also slightly different. It is blue and says Passholder on the box. Inside is an envelope. In the envelope is a gold card. It is unclear what the gold card does.

It's for any available passholder discounts. It will also get you free parking at the theme parks. You will probably be asked to show a photo id also.

If the card was Black, it's would be valid for discounts but does not include parking.
