Has any Annual Passholders gotten their magic bands yet?

does any one know if they will ship the annual passholder magic bands to Canada
or how do we get ours I got the email to customize the magic band but were are they going to send it to.
 
I have 2 separate orders and one is showing no status, the other is still being customized. Herein lies the problem: the first order I placed was for myself and DD and the second for my grandmother. Her order is the one with no status but her MB is listed as belonging to DD. Ugh!

Shipping of all MagicBands is to US addresses only. The Passholder MagicBands can't be picked up at WDW. You would get an RFID AP Card only.

For a stay at a Disney owned & operated resort, those living outside of the US can pickup their MagicBands at check-in.
 

We got ours today and am more excited about these than all the others! :cool1: And we got Passholder MagicSliders!!

Both came in one box (and a cool looking box it is) in addition to an envelope containing directions and two Passholder ID cards that note Name and Parking. It says it grants the eligibility for benefits listed online. Show this card and ID for Discounts and Parking.

Interesting the instructions include an extensive description of RFID, how it is used and health warnings for those with medical devices.

I ordered our 4 last week. Yesterday MDE changed from "customizing" to blank status. Today my DD15 got an email saying they had shipped. Now she has her own MDE account, which is linked to mine thru Family and Friends, but I ordered all 4 MBs thru my account and I got no email at all. That just seems strange to me.
 
We got ours today as well as another family member got theirs. I did not receive an email notice that ours were shipped, but family member did. My MDE status went from "preparing to ship" to blank for the last 3 days, then bands arrived on doorstep today. We've had Florida Resident APs for several years and our green (w/characters) pass showed "parking" on it. Today's mail: our magic bands came with black cards instead of yellow. They do not say "parking" on them, but back says to show card for all AP discounts. The other family member did get the gold card like previous post and does have the word "parking" on it. Did two of us get the wrong cards? The three APs are exactly the same, so not sure why the cards w/the magic bands aren't all the same. Just wondering if anyone else could shed some light on this before I have to call I.T. or whatever.
 
Received ours today! Special boxes for AP's and sliders are a very cool touch!

Maybe they only send 1 gold parking pass per family? Do you all have an Annual or do some have a Seasonal? Only the Annual would get the Gold Parking card. The black card is for discounts only.

Does your FL Resident Pass have blackout dates?

The FL Seasonal Passes with blackout dates don't include parking and should get the Black Discount Card.

The Annual and Premium Annual Passes that don't have blackout dates get the Gold Discount Card.

We're all identical Florida Annuals.....two were bought together 4 yrs ago, the third bought last year. I did call Annual Passholders phone and was confirmed that two of us got the wrong cards (the black ones with the castle silouette) and he has no idea why.... and no, they can't just ship us the correct gold cards. What he suggested was to go to Guest Services at one of the parks and they would issue replacement cards. "They might be able to help you. The only information he had was from an email he was reading from that said "should someone lose their discount card, it can be replaced at Guest Services" We're headed over to EPCOT on Sunday anyway, so will check there.....wasn't our intention to spend time waiting in line for that, but whatever. If we were always going to be at the parks together, then I wouldn't deal with it, but we go over way more often than the one who does have the correct card to show at the booth.

Ours have always been the Annuals since we first got them 4 yrs ago and have always had the free parking included. In fact, with the prices having gone up this past time, that was the only perk that was making it worth it to renew. The castmember at the AP hotline confirmed we'd received the wrong cards, but cannot correct it from his end.

expiration date on the cards is one day early IMO (I need to check my records but we bought them on 9/15 and these expire on 9/14 so either I'm wrong - but I don't think so or they've closed that loophole where you got to use them for a year and a day)

I just noticed that the expiration date on my discount card is also a day earlier than it should be. The date they wrote on the back of my pass with Minnie Mouse on it is a day later and matches the purchase date. That's interesting. I don't understand why if the band is so "magical" I need to carry around another card. Probably going to stick with just the Minnie card.

it appears to be letting me book FP+ reservations, but I do not want to go and attempt to scan my AP card and it not work.

Yes you can use your card as long as it is linked. You just tap it against the readers the same way you tap the band. I used my card on Saturday with no problems and my magic band just came today. I think the card is probably going to be the better option for me.

Dumb question, sorry-how do I know its linked?

I did place the order for the magicbands to these same AP cards which I would assume means they are now linked?
