Was there yesterday. One family asked for photo together and was told it was bad luck in Arendelle for them to be photographed together!

Actually you used to meet 3 princesses in that M&GS so now that there is only 2, it should move faster.

I have been so sad about this split, because meeting the Sisters together was probably a pretty magical thing - it's rare that 2 characters meet together anywhere in Disney and our trip is not until September so we have missed out on this....that said -

I have not been checking, but my mathematical brain says that it should be faster. Let's use some notional numbers for this thought and assume there is only 1 room open.

Prior to the split, I believe that families spent 4-5minutes with the sisters together. Therefore every hour 12-15 families could get thru the line.

After the split - Families likely spend 2-3 minutes with each princess I sequence. Therefore every hour 20-30 families could get thru the same line. They would still have the same 4-6 minute experience in the room, but with 2 families being serviced at a time, it will be higher productivity for the room.

Now - higher capacity doesn't necessarily relate to shorter wait times. I think with peak season approaching, that we may still see similar wait times, but more folks will be accommodated in that same time period.

If anyone else has been checking, I would be interested in their observations!

We were there this past Monday and saw them both in the same room. We had a fast pass, not sure if that matters or not, but they were in opposite sides of the same big room - nothing between them to separate.

Pictures were taken with each princess separately, but in the same room, by two different photographers. If by split you mean not pictured together, then they were split, but they were still in the same room.

I noticed that the standby line was around 130 minutes and never over 200 minutes any of the times we walked by PFH, which I thought was lower than what I had read about a month ago.

Well I hope for some magic for you. When we were there last March it was Snow White and Cinderella ( think, I know there was two ). We were the last family in the room before they went for tea, and they asked if my girls could get together for a group picture. Sent my wife to tears.

Until the girls were split earlier this month, they always had a 'visiting' princess in the other spot - Usually Snow, a Aurora, or Jasmine...

Aurora was there. Anna and Elsa were together, and Aurora was on the other side of the room.
I know that all three times we saw A&E earlier this month, no one had to stand in wait for Aurora. People took a lot of time with the sisters, do Aurora was really left standing alone a lot. When guests got to her, they didn't really linger.
I can't see how splitting them up is speeding things up. But, who knows.
And for us? Anna was the big draw. Really didn't much care about Elsa. Looks like we're in the minority.
