I'm in the process of losing weight (down 44lbs now) and one of my "rewards" is going to be a handbag and I am in LOVE with the Harvey's Love you to Pieces line which was supposed to debut on July 13th. It's not on Harvey's website, so I was wondering if anyone has seen the bags in stores at the park? We will be there in a little over 2 months so my hope is to get one then.

Congratulations on the weight loss!
That's a great reward. I want one! :) I haven't seen that one yet.

I don't know a thing about the bags, but wanted to say Congratulations!:cool1:, and the bags are really cute!! I'll be at DLR very soon. I will have to keep my eyes open for these! :)

How much are they? They're cute and I'm obsessing over it now. Maybe if I knew the price I could stop obsessing.

Congrats on the weight loss!!!! It's hard work but so worth it. :)

I like your reward, too. Purses are always fun.

I got mine shortly after launch at Vault 28 in DTD. Congratulations!

Congrats!! I have just started my weight loss process to (im down 20lbs) I want to lose 100 before next summer and my reward is going to be our disneyland trip :)

According to the post you linked, the bag will be $168. It's darling! Congrats on your weight loss.

Thanks everyone!
And good luck to those of you losing weight also! I'm excited for our trip this fall weighing much less than last year!

$168 is actually $10 cheaper than the NBC and Cinderella Harvey's bags I have now.

Do they make a matching wallet for his ag?

Yes, there is a wallet. It's the clutch wallet in the blog post.

The bags are cute! I'm on restriction because of some Harveys madness earlier this year, but this one is tempting!

:cool1: Congrats on the weight loss! I know how you feel. I have lost 46.5 pounds so far and I know what an accomplishment it is. I look at old photos, or put the "big" clothes on and am amazed at what I have done! Keep up the good work...from one who knows what it's like! :yay:

I've never heard of them. This is so cool.

So all the bags are made out of seatbelts :confused3

I bet that by this point they are made out of seatbelt *material* rather than actual old seatbelts. I could be wrong, but they are pretty popular....sourcing actual seatbelts might get a bit difficult at a certain point.

Seatbelt material - there is a line of "recycled" bags (Treecycle) that use rejected seatbelt material from the industry. They are the standard colors (gray, tan, brown) you'd find in a car.

The others (in all colors, prints, sizes) are seatbelt material made for Harveys. You can see some of the colors here: http://www.seatbeltbags97.blogspot.com/2013/07/inspired-at-harveys-colors.html

They are pricey, yet the stuff wears like iron! I've spilled coffee, run them into the things, smashed straps in car doors... And the bags all look new!

Yes! Super sturdy! I have 3 and a wallet right now and they hold up great. The only slight downfall is that they are pretty heavy bags.
