Harry Potter Theme Park

I have a friend who said they were building a new theme park in Flordia. It is going to be a Harry Potter park. She is a huge fan and is going WDW with her whole family in 08. Can anyone tell me about it.

I know that Universal is turning the current The Lost Continent theme land at IAW into a Harry Potter Themed- Land..

Might not even be until 2010...definitely not going to be open next year, tho, they will need to make a return trip.

If you peruse the Universal subboard here, you will find a ton of posts on this, they will give you an idea of what they are trying to pull off--basically, "a theme park within a theme park."

Yup, Harry Potter is going to Universal's Island's of Adventure. DH and I went there this summer and it's a fun park. I'm looking forward to the Harry Potter park.

It won't be a new park,they will be converting part of the Lost Continent at IOA and adding a back section of the park to the new land.Don't expect it to be finished anytime before 2010.
