Rose looked at the carriage in front of them and she could she lucca reading the quibbler. she felt jittery with anticipation to see who she would get to prank...hang out with in ravenclaw tower.

As the carrige made a halting stop Ginny could just see Griffyndor Tower in the distance and smiled.

Rose carefully watched her footing as she made her way out of the carriage. It felt so good to be home at last.

Lucca put down the quibbler as they approached Hogwarts. She smiled and looked at the carriages up ahead holding Charlie and Caroline. They had asked her to show them around the first couple days so she had to keep an eye on them. Hogwarts looked as magnificent as it ever had and she was so glad this day had finally arrived. The carriage come to a sudden stop and everyone was let out. Lucca made her way up to Charlie and Caroline greeting new people as she moved about.

Rose ran to catch up with lucca.
"Hey are you ready to see what first years join our houses?"

occ: sorry but I must get ready for the super bowl with dinner and such see you guys tomorrow afternoon!

"Very excited! Most of these first years look scared to death though, and they are so little. I can't even believe we use to be that small!" Lucca said astonished as her and Rose walked with everyone else up to Hogwarts.

George caught up with everyone. He said to Lucca "Hey, aren't those blonde kids over there the people you were with on the train?"

Eliza had gotten stuck behind in all of the excitement. She raced to catch up with George, Lucca and all her other friends.

Lucca kept walking as George and Eliza ran up behind them. "Yes, their names are Caroline and Charlie. First years. Very nice kids." Lucca said as they inched closer and closer to the castle.

" They seem nice" Eliza said as she walked through the doors, entering the large castle.

Lucca nodded as the doors to the castle swung open. Even though she had been there many times before it was just amazing as the first year she arrived. "Just magnificent isn't it?" Lucca said as she and her friends procceded into the great hall. She sent her first year friends off to the other line to wait for sorting as she and the rest of the older students were motioned into the great hall.

Eliza followed Lucca into the Great Hall. "I hope they end up in Gryffindor" Eliza said, leaning her head to where the twins had just went

"me too" said George, eagerly awaiting the grand buffet.

"As do I. As do I." Lucca said hopingly as they entered the Great Hall. It was extravegant with the bright candles floating above them. The atmosphere was wonderful and you could hear many conversations brewing about everything. Lucca walked over to the Gryffindor table greeting other fellow housemates.

George met up with some kids from Hufflepuff table and spoke to them for a while before going to his house table. Suddenly there was silence and Dumbledore rose to give his welcome speech.

The conversations grew silent as all eyes turned to Dumbledore. He gave his normal speech which recieved an applause. McGonagall then took her place at the front where she sat the sorting hat on the stool. Quickly she began to call out first year students names to be sorted. One by one each student was sorted into their house. Then came to Charlie and Caroline. Caroline went first. It was about 1 minute of deciding when the sorting hat finally called out Gryffindor.

All the Gryffindors cheered loudly, especially Lucca. George was happy they were with them.

After the sorting, Dumbledore went through all the rules as usual. Then the feast began, George's favourite part of the day. He quickly shovelled some Shepherds Pie onto his plate.

Lucca cheered as did the rest of the Gryffindor table and Charlie walked timidly up to the sorting hat. It took a little longer as the sorting hat seemed to be deciding between two houses. Lucca looked over at Caroline who was biting her lip in anticipation. But just as before the sorting hat yelled out Gryffindor and Charlie ran over to the table to sit beside his sister. Lucca clapped as the placing of students continued.
