DH plans to ride the Dragon roller coaster, I do not plan to ride. I read that the first part of the queue is themed. Would it be easy or difficult for me to walk through the queue area if I don't plan to ride? Or should I just meet him after the ride?

Very easy to walk through. I've done it twice without riding as I just wanted to take pictures of the queue. Walk through the line, take whatever pics you want then when you reach the loading platform there is a door to the right(next to the childswap benches) that you exit through.

If you're a Potter fan, you should DEFINITELY check out the DD queue. Just be prepared, it's quite a walk! But besides the props and scenery, there's also a great place to get a photo with Hogwarts in the background.

Yeah, you'll have no problems. This queue pales in comparison to the one for FJ, however. Those who have seen the DC queue back before WWoHP came along (which doesn't include me) consider the prior one far superior. Still, there are some things HP-related you might enjoy.

Clearly my experience was unusual, but I thought I'd throw my two cents in:

The early part of the Dragon queue is easy to see if you're not riding (I went through up until the car so that I could take pictures-- it was wide enough that people just went around me and then I turned around and left).

I'd ridden a couple of times, but we were staying in the Hard Rock so I used the Express line. Then, I found out that there was more to see in the regular queue, so being to photo addict I am, I had to go see it. I wasn't planning on riding, though, I would be too scared about my camera.

Anyway, I got the pictures I wanted, and when it was time for me to leave, I was instructed out an exit door. Long story short, I ended up in a deserted back area (one that park visitors were clearly not supposed to see) filled with old pipes and pieces of metal and such.

Long story short, I got back into the queue and ended up having to go backwards through a very unforgiving tourist group who didn't understand that I just wanted to escape, not steal their place in line. :rotfl:

At the time, I was horrified and I ended up with quite a few bumps and bruises :headache:... at least I got a good story out of it :confused3

Either way, enjoy your trip-- WWOHP is amazing! :wizard:
