I will be going by myself to Orlando next year and I heard that you do not get to see that much stuff in the single rider line. I am asking that if I do the single rider line, can I ask the people who work there for a tour of the Hogwarts Castle after I done the ride or am I better off staying in the regular line?

There is a dedicated Castle Tour queue that will allow you to see the best of the normal standby queue with no waiting.

You can do both, if you want to save time (ie if the line is long) you can do the single rider line instead of the regular line, but they also offer a tour of the castle for those who don't/can't ride but still want to see the castle. So ride and then do the tour (or vice-versa).

I want to thank you both for replying. I guess I do the single rider line and then do the tour of hogwarts.

The nice thing about the tour line, is that you can walk through it at your own pace and stop to look at everything for as long as you want. Plus, if you want pictures, then you don't have to worry about losing your camera on the ride. There are some fun videos by Dumbledore and Harry, Ron, and Hermione, and in the tour line you can watch the whole thing and not have to worry about the line moving past and missing part of it. Listening to the potraits talk is fun too.

The castle is neat, but the ride is the best part. Depending on crowds, sometimes you can get through the single rider line 3 or 4 times before the regular line would even get you through once.

If you can do the regular line at least once. The castle tour line does not cover the entire line area. You miss the greenhouses and the exterior as well as the entrance to the castle.

I would...
1- regular line first thing in the am or at the end of the day.
2- castle tour to take photos and geek out at the videos and moving "paintings"
3- single rider to your hearts content

I agree with the others. Single rider line first, then the castle tour line. Just ask one of the CMs which line it is, cause they weren't labeled when I was there last week. You do skip the green house, but there really isn't much there, except a lot of plants. There are some mandrakes in the window, but they don't move or make noise. There is a screechy mandrake in one of the Hogsmeade shop windows, however.

Dumbledore's office and the Defense Against the Dark Arts rooms are my favorite parts of all of WWOHP...you gotta see them! So definitely take the castle tour. :)
