Is there an Express line yet?
Do the parks open early for on-site guests to access the new ride before the lines get unmanageable?

Is it worth doing the full line at least once?

Thanks for any info, we are at the RPR in only 6 weeks! :cool1:

If you purchased the Harry Potter vacation package, you will have early access into UIA at 8am. The rides that will be open then are Cat in the Hat, Forbidden Journey, Dragon Challenge and Flight of the Hippogriff. There is no express line for FJ yet but I'm not sure what they are doing about the other 2 rides since they are already existing.

I will be there in 39 days with DS16. I purchased the HP package and we will be staying at RPR too. Our plan is to ride FJ with early access into the park every day that we are there and then at least once stand in the long line to take in the entire Castle queue. We can't wait!!

When are you going? Sounds like you will be there close to same time we are.

1st August but we don't have the HP package. Hope they have an exporess line by then! :worship:

We arrive July 29th thru Aug 2. I highly doubt there will be an express line. Rip Ride Rockit opened last August and that ride still doesn't have Express Pass. We're hoping that will change by the time we get there since it's not the newest attraction anymore.

You don't need to have purchased the Harry Potter package for early entry. All on site guests are allowed into IOA an hour early to experience Seuss Lading and WWOHP. I also had some confusion about this and had to call to clarify!

This is correct. We were onsite guests last week and had the same early entry as package holders.

WWoHP opened early for onsite guests. We were left a VM last night saying WWoHP would open at 6:00AM for oniste guests. We woke-up early, headed down to the water taxi only to be greeted by 3 Portifino employees telling us it wasn't going to open until 8:00AM. We jumped on the water taxi anyway and went to IOA. We entered IOA and jumped in the onsite guest HP line to get into WWoHP. At around 7:15 they started letting us in to WWoHP.

They have not started doing Express for the FJ. I asked a TM about it and she didn't know when they would start doing it. She said it could be months away yet. Right now it's first come first serve so you will have to do the full line. Having WWoHP open to only resort guests for an hour makes a HUGE differeence in lines, shop crowds, and wait times. Take advantage of it during your stay.

I'm sorry to see there's no Express line. Obviously, I need to do a lot more reading. :o My DH & I were discussing this last night. We were planning a surprise trip from Christmas to New Year, but we may change that plan. Standing in line Christmas week to ride FJ sounds kinda scary. :scared1: UO has spoiled us with their golden ticket. ;)

I don't think you'll see an Express line for FJ for a least a year unless everyone suddenly stops coming...and I don't look for that to happen. ;)

Single Riders Line has been open, and has had significantly shorter waits than the regular queue. Regular line is definitely worth doing once, but if you want to do it multiple times single riders is the way to go on your subsequent rides, so long as you don't mind getting split up from your party!

Thanks for the info. ADP. I wonder if/how long they will continue the 6:00 AM opening? We arrive tomorrow. That would be great if they keep it going for a while.

I was told the same thing when I made a reservation for PBH. All onsite hotel guests will be allowed into IOA one hour early to experience WWOHP and Seuss Landing. I plan on using this benefit to ride the HP ride and explore WWOHP for the entire hour and then high tail it out of there.

Did you have enough time to explore WWOHP from 7:15-9:00? I am hoping that we will have enough time to explore, shop and ride the rides before the public is let in. Any tips or info would be appreciated!

I'm following. We will be there August 22 for 2 to 3 days onsite and would love to have some idea of how things are going.:surfweb:

Thanks everyone. Sounds like we will be doing a few early starts.

How long are the lines if you get there about half and hour before normal park opening?

We have RPR booked for september, and was told that resort guest would have fotl for FJ once per day. I hope she is correct, and they will have everything worked for fotl by then. I will be really bummed if the reservation rep gave me the wrong info.

I saw a thread about that. According to that thread, So far it has not been true for anyone, sorry. I

It's been open five days. I don't think many people would have expected the express line to be open already. It should be open in September.

I doubt FJ will have an express line for quite some time. Rip Ride Rockit has been open for almost a year and still not express line.
